Missouri: A Camden County deputy has been severely injured after chasing a man wanted for an alleged crime on Sunday, March 1.

According to online court dockets filed on Tuesday, March 17, Marc Lawrence, born in 1992, of Camdenton, has been charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest by fleeing – creating a substantial risk of serious injury or death to any person and with first-degree property damage.

The statement reports that Lawrence jumped over guide wires into the median that separates westbound and eastbound lanes as several vehicles were going at a high rate of speed.
As deputies tried to clear the same guide wire, the same deputy who Lawrence had allegedly almost landed on got tangled in the wires, who was heard screaming in pain and then seen lying on the ground.
Law enforcement eventually caught up to Lawrence in a parking lot after he stopped running and lifted his hands in the air.
The deputy was reported to have been transported and admitted for medical care due to a severe injury to his left leg and knee, with his final diagnosis at the time of statement being undetermined. Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for his recovery🙏🏻

Texas: The Harris County Sheriff's Office says a deputy is recovering from an overnight crash involving a suspected drunk driver.

According to the sheriff's office, the crash happened on the feeder road of the North Beltway near Imperial Valley at 12:30 a.m. Monday.
