Chaplain Russ Thompson served the Lexington Police Department and the Town of Lexington, SC community for fourteen years before his retirement in late 2024.

NEW: ERO San Francisco arrested Hector Morales-Sales, 32, of Guatemala, March 17. Morales was sentenced to two years in prison for vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and cruelty of a child resulting in possible injury or death.

Today, Corporal Timothy J. O’Connor Jr. of the Pennsylvania State Police was laid to rest at St. Joseph Parish in Downingtown.

Corporal O’Connor, a 15-year veteran of the State Police, a loving husband and father, was killed in the line of duty on March 8, 2026, when a driver opened fire during a traffic stop in West Caln Township in Chester County.

We stand in solidarity with the Pennsylvania State Police and communities across the Commonwealth in mourning this tragic and senseless loss of life.

Our thoughts are with his family, fellow troopers, and all who knew him.🙏🏻

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Los Angeles Police Officer III Daniel N. Malek, Serial No. 37699, who passed away on March 13, 2026. Officer Malek was last assigned to Northeast Area.

Officer Malek is survived by his daughter Samantha and his mother Laila.

NEW: ERO San Francisco arrested Marcos Valdovinos-Rodriguez, 26, of Mexico, March 16.  Valdovinos served a year in jail for DUI and evading a peace officer. He also served four years in prison for inflicting corporal injury on his spouse. He was removed to Mexico March 17.
