NEW: I asked House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) about Nancy Pelosi saying in 2011 that President Obama didn't need Congressional approval to bomb Libya, but Dems now say President Trump needs approval to bomb Iran?

Jeffries said Iran is "very different" & told me "I don't even understand the genesis or basis of that question...not suggesting you're asking it in bad faith."

When I pointed out that the Libya bombing campaign went on for 7 months, (and also included a no-fly zone), Jeffries said he wasn’t in Congress at the time and that  the Trump admin "isn't even pretending to have intelligence at this point" to justify the strikes in Iran.

The Democrat DHS Shutdown has Consequences for American Citizens and Hardworking Families

Our Cybersecurity Agency has lost hundreds of workers who have been furloughed. We have training for weapons of mass destruction, for detecting bombs and terrorist activities across the country, many of whom work with our local law enforcement, who have been furloughed and are not on duty today.

The Democrat Party is damaging families long-term to make a political point when it has no effect on what we are doing for immigration enforcement every single day, because that agency is funded.

He’s back in uniform.

The bad guy didn’t win.

In September, Captain Brantley Worley, a police officer and firefighter in McCaysville, was shot in the back of the head in the line of duty.

For nearly three hours that night, his wife Jessica waited to see him as doctors worked in a trauma bay to save his life.

This week, he walked back into work.

After months of recovery and ongoing treatment for a traumatic brain injury, Brantley put his uniform on and headed out the door… excited. Grateful. Determined.

He has always said policing and firefighting aren’t just jobs to him. They’re his calling.

Through it all, he kept telling his family one thing: evil wouldn’t win.

And it didn’t.

The deputies and first responders who rushed into danger to get him to safety: Sergeant Russell Long, Dawson Workman, Weston Henry, Reed Surmain, Paramedic Bobby Long and EMTA Austin Nicholson, were awarded the Medal of Bravery for their heroics.

The Fannin County 9-1-1 Center, Fire Department and EMA were also formally recognized for their critical response that night.

Captain Worley himself received the Medal of Valor and the Purple Heart for his extraordinary bravery.

Behind the badges is a family of five children. A wife who served our country as a veteran and then became his nurse, his advocate, and his steady strength through the hardest season of their lives.

The headlines have faded. The trial won’t begin until this fall. He’s still seeing specialists.

But this week, he’s back.

Back to serving.
Back to protecting.
Back to the life he loves.

The bad guy didn’t win. πŸ’™

BREAKING: LAPD currently dealing with a City Wide outage of its CAD system.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system is a critical, real-time technology platform that supports 911 call takers and dispatchers. It processes emergency calls, tracks officer locations, and coordinates incident responses. Serving as the central hub for deploying patrol units, mapping scenes, and documenting event details, CAD significantly enhances situational awareness for officers in the field, per CodeThreeNews.

When CAD goes down, operations shift to manual processes: radio traffic, handwritten logs, and limited real-time tracking. That can mean slower response times and reduced situational awareness during active incidents.

This is a developing situation. If you’re in Los Angeles and need emergency assistance, continue calling 911, but be aware dispatch operations may be operating under contingency protocols.

NEW: A Lower East Side school went into lockdown Tuesday as police and NYPD School Safety agents arrested a 16-year-old boy found carrying a loaded firearm inside the school.

As the school went into lockdown, cops and school safety agents found the teen and confronted him.

The officers scuffled with the boy and wrestled him to the ground before taking him into custody, a source with knowledge of the case said.

A firearm was found in the youth’s waistband.

He was taken into custody. No injuries were reported and criminal charges weren’t immediately filed.
