A trooper stopped a CMV traveling 17 MPH over the limit. Moments later, a steer axle tire blew out. At highway speeds, a steer tire failure can be catastrophic. This stop likely prevented a serious crash and saved lives. Enforcement isn’t just about citations.

NEW: Federal Indictment Unsealed in Chicago Charges JesΓΊs Omar Ibarra FΓ©lix (β€œEl Chuta”) With Terrorism, Drug Trafficking, and Firearms Offenses.

According to the indictment unsealed in Chicago, Jesus Omar Ibarra FΓ©lix, 49 and a native of Los Mochis, Mexico, is a fugitive and the alleged leader of an armed security force known as Las Fuerzas Especiales de Chuta (FECH).

Prosecutors allege this group served as a paramilitary-style armed wing that engaged in violent conflict to protect and enforce the interests of the GuzmΓ‘n faction of the Sinaloa Cartel, an organization that the United States government has formally designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO).

The indictment further alleges that from 2016 through 2026, Ibarra FΓ©lix supplied machineguns and conspired with cartel leadership to traffic large quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl from Mexico into the United States.

In addition to leading FECH, prosecutors accuse Ibarra FΓ©lix of acting as a β€œplaza boss,” overseeing drug trafficking activities in the Ahome region near Los Mochis, Sinaloa, from 2016 to 2025.

The indictment also references alleged coordination with Fausto Isidro Meza Flores, who was indicted in 2019 and remains on the Federal Bureau of Investigation Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

NEW: I asked House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) about Nancy Pelosi saying in 2011 that President Obama didn't need Congressional approval to bomb Libya, but Dems now say President Trump needs approval to bomb Iran?

Jeffries said Iran is "very different" & told me "I don't even understand the genesis or basis of that question...not suggesting you're asking it in bad faith."

When I pointed out that the Libya bombing campaign went on for 7 months, (and also included a no-fly zone), Jeffries said he wasn’t in Congress at the time and that  the Trump admin "isn't even pretending to have intelligence at this point" to justify the strikes in Iran.

The Democrat DHS Shutdown has Consequences for American Citizens and Hardworking Families

Our Cybersecurity Agency has lost hundreds of workers who have been furloughed. We have training for weapons of mass destruction, for detecting bombs and terrorist activities across the country, many of whom work with our local law enforcement, who have been furloughed and are not on duty today.

The Democrat Party is damaging families long-term to make a political point when it has no effect on what we are doing for immigration enforcement every single day, because that agency is funded.

He’s back in uniform.

The bad guy didn’t win.

In September, Captain Brantley Worley, a police officer and firefighter in McCaysville, was shot in the back of the head in the line of duty.

For nearly three hours that night, his wife Jessica waited to see him as doctors worked in a trauma bay to save his life.

This week, he walked back into work.

After months of recovery and ongoing treatment for a traumatic brain injury, Brantley put his uniform on and headed out the door… excited. Grateful. Determined.

He has always said policing and firefighting aren’t just jobs to him. They’re his calling.

Through it all, he kept telling his family one thing: evil wouldn’t win.

And it didn’t.

The deputies and first responders who rushed into danger to get him to safety: Sergeant Russell Long, Dawson Workman, Weston Henry, Reed Surmain, Paramedic Bobby Long and EMTA Austin Nicholson, were awarded the Medal of Bravery for their heroics.

The Fannin County 9-1-1 Center, Fire Department and EMA were also formally recognized for their critical response that night.

Captain Worley himself received the Medal of Valor and the Purple Heart for his extraordinary bravery.

Behind the badges is a family of five children. A wife who served our country as a veteran and then became his nurse, his advocate, and his steady strength through the hardest season of their lives.

The headlines have faded. The trial won’t begin until this fall. He’s still seeing specialists.

But this week, he’s back.

Back to serving.
Back to protecting.
Back to the life he loves.

The bad guy didn’t win. πŸ’™
