Ohio: Multiple people were shot early Sunday morning at a music venue in East End, Cincinnati police Interim Chief Adam Hennie said.

Nine people were shot at the venue, and all have non-life-threatening injuries, Hennie said. The victims were transported to either UC Medical Center or Good Samaritan Hospital.
Hennie did not have any information about what led up to the shooting or if they have any suspect information.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Two were killed and at least 14 others were injured after a shooting early Sunday morning in downtown Austin, Texas. The shooter was also killed. The FBI is involved in the investigation.

Austin police responded to reports of gunfire at Buford’s bar on West Sixth Street just before 2 a.m.

Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis said the suspect, who was driving a large SUV, circled the block several times before stopping, turning on the SUV's hazard lights, and firing a handgun. 

Police said he then parked near Wood Street, got out and continued shooting with a pistol and later a rifle as he walked east on Sixth Street. Officers who were stationed nearby at the time opened fire on the shooter, killing him.

Davis said the suspect never entered Buford’s bar but fired shots from outside the building. She said evidence from the SUV and nearby businesses is still being processed and confirmed that only two weapons -- a pistol and a rifle -- were recovered.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: CENTCOM confirms 3 service members killed and several injured.

"TAMPA, Fla. – As of 9:30 am ET, March 1, three U.S. service members have been killed in action and five are seriously wounded as part of Operation Epic Fury.

Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions — and are in the process of being returned to duty. Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing.

The situation is fluid, so out of respect for the families, we will withhold additional information, including the identities of our fallen warriors, until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified."

The East Range Police Department, Minnesota, sadly announced the death of Sgt. Cody Siebert who passed away on Friday, less than 24 hours after being diagnosed with a brain infection.

"His passing was unexpected for everyone.  Sgt Siebert was well known for his happy-go lucky personality. It was best said that if you couldn't get along with Cody, it was your fault. Sgt Siebert started the K9 program in Babbitt with K9 Taconite (Tac) before coming to East Range Police Department with K9 Tac. The hole left by Sgt Siebert's passing will be impossible to fill."

BREAKING UPDATE: Per multiple federal law enforcement sources, the Austin, TX mass shooter was a 53-year-old naturalized U.S. citizen who was born in Senegal and was living in Pflugerville, TX, and material recovered from his person and vehicle give possible indications of a nexus to terrorism, as the FBI announced earlier today.

JUST IN: Bill Melugin has obtained a photo of the Austin, TX mass shooter, armed & wearing a sweater that says “Property of Allah”. He has not been identified by authorities, but multiple federal law enforcement sources tell FOX he is a 53-year-old naturalized US citizen who was born in Senegal and was living in Pflugerville, TX. "I am told he was also wearing an undershirt that had an Iranian flag on it."

Yesterday, members of the Lincoln County MO Sheriff’s Office attended funeral services for Deputy Gabriel Ramirez and Deputy Michael Hislope of the Christian County Sheriff’s Office. Detectives Rodgers and Al-Besharat were present to represent our agency and pay tribute to two deputies who gave their lives in the line of duty.

Deputies Ramirez and Hislope served their community with courage and selflessness, making the ultimate sacrifice while protecting others. In times like these, the law enforcement community comes together as one family — offering strength, support, and solidarity to those who are grieving. No department faces such loss alone.
