DISCRIMINATION SUIT: Five White Philadelphia police officers sue the city, claiming they were denied promotions in November because of their race and sex due to the city's "Rule of Five'" policy.
The plaintiffs include Lieutenants Christopher Bloom, Kollin Berg and Joseph Musumeci, as well as Sergeants Marc Monachello and LeRoy Ziegler Jr., all of whom are White males. The class-action lawsuit alleges that in November 2025, the five officers were denied promotions because of their race and sex due to the city's "Rule of Five" policy.
"The City of Philadelphia has adopted a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) promotion policy that it calls the 'Rule of Five,' which was instituted for the express purpose of increasing the representation of minority and female candidates in supervisory positions within the City of Philadelphia at the expense of white men," the lawsuit reads.

Please continue to pray for healing for Deputy Josh Wahl, and Deputy Austin McCall that were injured during the manhunt for Richard Bird in Christian County on Monday night.ππ»
Ozark, Missouri: Two deputies injured in a gunfight near Reeds Spring earlier this week remain hospitalized as Christian County prepares to bury two other officers killed in the same incident.
Deputy Josh Wahl of the Christian County Sheriffβs Office and Deputy Austin McCall of the Webster County Sheriffβs Office were both taken to the hospital with severe injuries following Tuesday morningβs gunfight.
Deputy McCallβs condition
Webster County Sheriff Roye Cole said he has visited Deputy McCall every day since the shooting. McCall suffered four gunshot wounds.
βHeβs a very brave man. Heβs also a goofball and quick-witted. But I think, more importantly, heβs the type of person who makes everybody around them feel better about themselves. And thatβs the kind of people that we need around here, Sheriff Cole said. βThatβs the kind of people we need in the world. Heβs non-critical by nature, but heβs also highly intelligent and has discernment."
Deputy Wahlβs condition
Christian County Sheriff Brad Cole said Deputy Wahl is doing well after being shot in the upper leg and has undergone surgery.
βHeβs actually doing extremely well. Heβs underwent a pretty major surgery, reconstruction, and he is kind of limited on his movement at this point in time,β Sheriff Brad Cole said.
Sheriff Brad Cole said Wahl has focused on others throughout his recovery.
βHe has more concern for everybody else than he does for himself. And thatβs just Josh,β he said.
Support from both departments
Both sheriffs said they will continue to support the injured deputies through recovery and beyond.
βThere will be non-stop, continued support for him. We will make sure that he has what he needs for, hopefully, a full recovery,β Sheriff Brad Cole said.

The Irwindale Police Department, California, is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our longtime friend and retired Police Sergeant, Luther Ritter.
Sergeant Ritter devoted many years of honorable and dedicated service to the Irwindale community β a community he not only served, but proudly called home.
Beyond the uniform, Sergeant Ritter was a neighbor, a trusted friend, and a mentor to many. His guidance, leadership, and example helped shape generations of officers who followed in his footsteps β some of whom were honored to stand by his bedside during his final moments.
Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of blue and blood.ππ»

Pennsylvania: A York City man faces felony aggravated assault after an officer was injured during his arrest following a traffic stop.
Tyre Orlando Hallman, 34, was arrested during a traffic stop that occurred around 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, on North George Street.
Police say the vehicle allegedly smelled of marijuana and that Hallman was uncooperative during the stop and allegedly refused to tell the officer his name. Hallman allegedly refused to get out of the vehicle after he was asked to do so and allegedly told the officer he would have to rip him out of the vehicle.
When a second officer arrived, Hallman was pulled from the vehicle and began to flail his arms and fight with the officers. When a third officer arrived, they were able to force Hallmanβs hands behind his back and handcuffs were applied.
During the struggle to arrest Hallman, the initial Northern York officer that made the traffic stop sustained a severely injured right hand that required hospitalization.
Besides the aggravated assault charge, Hallman also faces misdemeanor resisting arrest, obstruction, DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also faces summary charges of driving with a suspended license, improper sun screening, and for not having the child restrained in the car.
Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for the officer's recoveryππ»

BREAKING: The man with 30 prior arrests who stabbed 41-year-old Stephanie Minter to death at a Fairfax, VA bus stop earlier this week is an illegal alien from Sierra Leone, who entered the U.S. illegally in 2012 and has a final order of removal dating back to 2020.
Gov. Abigail Spanberger, on her first day in office, ended Virginia's cooperation with ICE, and later cancelled all state law enforcement's 287(g) programs with the federal government that allow them to work with ICE to detain illegal aliens.
Somehow this guy with 30 prior arrests for many violent crimes and in the country illegally for nearly 15 years was able to roam the streets in Virginia.
And an innocent woman is now dead.
