Dalilah Coleman is a 1st-grader who was severely injured in a car accident caused by an illegal alien driving a semitruck with a CDL. Her injuries include a traumatic brain injury, Cerebral Palsy, and she will need lifelong care and therapy.

The driver crossed the border in 2022 and was released into the country by the Biden administration. She and her father join us at the State of the Union this evening. ❀️ This is our why.

The White House

Last night in his State of the Union, President Trump highlighted his administration’s efforts to stop illegal immigrants from obtaining CDLs.

I am proud to support President Trump in this effort! Recently, my Department of Public Safety worked alongside ICE on an enforcement operation at ports of entry in our state.

President Donald Trump recognized a brave young girl and her father during last night’s State of the Union address whose story deeply impacted our community.

Delilah Coleman was just five years old in June 2024 when she was severely injured in a horrific crash in Adelanto that left her with lifelong injuries.

https://www.dhs.gov/news/2025/09/25/father-speaks-out-after-ice-arrests-criminal-illegal-alien-who-struck-and-severely

The six-vehicle traffic collision left more than seven people injured, with injuries ranging from serious back and shoulder trauma to critical brain injuries. One adult and one child were airlifted with fractures and brain bleeds.

Our department worked this case diligently, and I’m proud to say we helped bring the driver to justice.

It doesn’t matter what side of the aisle you’re on β€” public safety should always be our main priority. Thank you to the President for proposing a law aimed at helping keep the public safe.

β€œWhat’s it like being principal and pimp?” a journalist asks as Queens elementary school assistant principal Bond Ng appears in federal court on an interstate prostitution charge.

Prosecutors allege the 47-year-old P.S. 16 administrator in Corona arranged for an out-of-state adult performer to travel for paid sexual encounters, coordinating meetings with clients at hotels and residences in Queens and Long Island City.

Nebraska: Two vehicles were suddenly swallowed by a sinkhole as they waited at an intersection in Omaha on February 24, with footage from a nearby parking garage’s camera showing the dramatic incident.

WATCH: Christian County sheriff addresses investigation into deaths of 2 deputies.

Again and Again...🀬🀬🀬

On February 23, at 3:53 p.m., 30-year-old Deputy Gabriel Ramirez, of the Christian County, Missouri Sheriff's Office was murdered following a "routine" traffic stop.

Christian County dispatch received 911 calls of a deputy down in the street.  Responding officers found Deputy Gabriel in the roadway, dead from gunshot wounds. Witnesses gave a description of the shooter and his vehicle.  Officers found the suspect vehicle abandoned in the nearby woods.

After an 11-hour manhunt, officers sighted 45-year-old Richard Dean Bird in a heavily wooded area. Bird opened fire on the approaching officers with a rifle, shooting Deputy Joshua Bell, who sustained a debilitating gunshot wound to the leg, and Webster County Deputy Austin McCall who was shot four times.  Law enforcement faced continued gunfire from Byrd, preventing immediate rescue of the wounded deputies.  During one of the rescue attempts, 40-year-old Christian County Deputy Michael Hyslope was shot and killed.

During the 30 minute gunbattle, Bird was eventually shot & killed.  He had a long criminal history of burglary and auto theft.  On Fri., February 20th, 2026, just three days before murdering these deputies, Bird was arrested again for burglary and possession of a firearm, he posted $50,000 bond and was released pending trial!

In 2016 Bird was found guilty of shooting a rifle at a deputy sheriff.  He pleaded guilty to a lesser offence and was released from prison in 2023.  Less than a year later, he was arrested burglarizing an occupied home, and was found with gloves, a flashlight and a knife. He was convicted and fined $200 + court costs!?!?

Both Deputies Ramirez and Hyslope served overseas in the US Army and were combat veterans.
