Today Newsom was asked on CNN why California has the highest cost-of-living in the country. He refused to answer. The obvious answer is his disastrous policies.
The way to improve affordability in America is to do the exact opposite of what Newsom has done in California.

Remember and Honor LAPD Officer Christy Hamilton, End of Watch (EOW) February 22, 1994, Gunfire
LAPD Officer Christy Lynn Hamilton wanted to become a Los Angeles Police officer for twenty-three years. Then, at age 45, she graduated from the academy and received the Tina Kerbrat Award as the most inspirational member of her class. Only 36 days later, the law enforcement career she so coveted came to a violent end when she and other officers responding to an early morning family disturbance call in Northridge were ambushed by a 17-year-old gunman who minutes before murdered his father with an assault rifle.
The young suspect fired a volley of rounds at responding officers. As the gunfire started, Hamilton crouched down behind the open driver's door of her police car and reached for the police radio. One shot went through the car door. She died an hour later at Northridge Hospital. When a SWAT team entered the house a few hours later, they found the teen shooter dead by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Officer Hamilton came from a law enforcement family. Her father, Kenny Brondell, retired from the LAPD in 1975 as a homicide detective. Her lifelong dream to become a police officer was sidetracked when she married at age nineteen and became a mother, but in 1993, when the LAPD lifted its ban on recruits over 35, her father suggested she take the test. She applied for the force, was hired, and then became the oldest recruit in her class. At her funeral, all members of her recently graduated academy class were in attendance; her pallbearers were all female officers from her class.
Officer Hamilton became the second female officer killed in the line of duty, following Officer Tina Kerbratβs murder a little over three years before. She was survived by her two children, Billy and Kelley Lynne, and her parents, brother, sister, and many nieces and nephews. One of those nieces, Susan Brondell, followed in her aunt's footsteps. She became an officer with the San Diego Police Department and writes frequent posts on her auntβs Officer Down Memorial Reflections page, honoring and remembering Christy as an inspiration to herself and others.

The United States provided intelligence support to the Mexican government in order to assist with an operation in Talpalpa, Jalisco, Mexico, in which Nemesio βEl Menchoβ Oseguera Cervantes, an infamous drug lord and leader within the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, was eliminated. βEl Menchoβ was a was a top target for the Mexican and United States government as one of the top traffickers of fentanyl into our homeland. Last year, President Trump rightfully designated the Jalisco New Generation Cartel as a Foreign Terrorist Organization β because thatβs exactly what it is. In this operation, three additional cartel members were killed, three were wounded, and two were arrested.
President Trump has been very clear β the United States will ensure narcoterrorists sending deadly drugs to our homeland are forced to face the wrath of justice they have long deserved.
The Trump Administration also commends and thanks the Mexican military for their cooperation and successful execution of this operation.

WATCH: A violent multi-vehicle crash was caught on camera today after a driver allegedly ran a red light and plowed into several vehicles, prompting deputies to deploy a Taser during a confrontation at the scene.
The collision happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. at the busy intersection of Railroad Avenue and Oak Ridge Drive in Santa Clarita.
Video captured by a Tesla dash camera shows a white BMW speeding into the intersection against a red light before slamming into multiple vehicles that were turning eastbound onto Oak Ridge Drive from Railroad Avenue. The force of the impact sent debris scattering across the roadway and left several cars disabled in the intersection.
First responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived within minutes, along with paramedics and ambulances. The number and severity of injuries were not immediately confirmed, though several patients were evaluated at the scene.
