Utah: A Washington City police officer was evaluated at a hospital after he was injured while responding to a domestic violence call.

Officers responded to a reported altercation in a home, with a woman reporting the man was intoxicated and acting erratically, according to the probable cause statement.
Police said they entered the bedroom and found the suspect, identified as Natanael Filoteo Sandoval, in what appeared to be "a manic state."

"Natanael immediately began charging towards officers despite multiple commands to back up," the statement read.
He allegedly threw a blanket at an officer, following it with a punch to their right eye. Officers then took him to the ground.
Police said Sandoval continued fighting, striking another officer while they tried to put him in handcuffs. He also allegedly spat blood in an officer's face.

One officer reported wrist and eye injuries, saying the punch to the face caused swelling to his right eye.
"I had to receive imaging at the hospital to evaluate the injuries received. My right eye was cut and was no longer fully opening and beginning to swell after the incident," the officer wrote in their report.

Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for the officer's recoveryπŸ™πŸ»

Democrat members of Congress are getting paid, but they’re withholding TSA workers pay checks.

Democrats in Congress have chosen to not fund DHS, which means that all of our TSA workers who showed up today are not getting paid.

The men and women of TSA work hard to make sure you and your loved ones can fly safely.  This political theater is only making it hard on them and their families.

If you see a TSA officer today, thank them!

Mississippi: A Starkville motorcycle officer is in critical condition at a medical facility in Jackson.

Sergeant Brandon Lovelady says the motorcycle officer was involved in a collision with a vehicle while assisting with a funeral procession escort Saturday afternoon.  He says the motorcycle officer sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Jackson for further treatment.

Lovelady says the driver of the other vehicle was not part of the procession.  The driver remained on scene and declined medical treatment.

The Starkville Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team will conduct a full reconstruction of the incident. The collision remains under investigation.

Lovelady ask the community to keep their officer and family in your thoughts.

NYC Dem warns Zohran Mamdani's NYPD hiring freeze could make city less safe: 'This is not good'

A top City Council politician warned that Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s decision not to add 5,000 cops to the ranks of the NYPD could make New Yorkers less safe.

Oswald Feliz (D-Bronx), who chairs the council’s Committee on Public Safety, said Mamdani’s hiring freeze comes as the department is β€œalready facing unprecedented officer shortages.”

Today Newsom was asked on CNN why California has the highest cost-of-living in the country. He refused to answer. The obvious answer is his disastrous policies.

The way to improve affordability in America is to do the exact opposite of what Newsom has done in California.

Remember and Honor LAPD Officer Christy Hamilton, End of Watch (EOW) February 22, 1994, Gunfire

LAPD Officer Christy Lynn Hamilton wanted to become a Los Angeles Police officer for twenty-three years. Then, at age 45, she graduated from the academy and received the Tina Kerbrat Award as the most inspirational member of her class. Only 36 days later, the law enforcement career she so coveted came to a violent end when she and other officers responding to an early morning family disturbance call in Northridge were ambushed by a 17-year-old gunman who minutes before murdered his father with an assault rifle.

The young suspect fired a volley of rounds at responding officers. As the gunfire started, Hamilton crouched down behind the open driver's door of her police car and reached for the police radio. One shot went through the car door. She died an hour later at Northridge Hospital. When a SWAT team entered the house a few hours later, they found the teen shooter dead by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Officer Hamilton came from a law enforcement family. Her father, Kenny Brondell, retired from the LAPD in 1975 as a homicide detective. Her lifelong dream to become a police officer was sidetracked when she married at age nineteen and became a mother, but in 1993, when the LAPD lifted its ban on recruits over 35, her father suggested she take the test. She applied for the force, was hired, and then became the oldest recruit in her class. At her funeral, all members of her recently graduated academy class were in attendance; her pallbearers were all female officers from her class.

Officer Hamilton became the second female officer killed in the line of duty, following Officer Tina Kerbrat’s murder a little over three years before. She was survived by her two children, Billy and Kelley Lynne, and her parents, brother, sister, and many nieces and nephews. One of those nieces, Susan Brondell, followed in her aunt's footsteps. She became an officer with the San Diego Police Department and writes frequent posts on her aunt’s Officer Down Memorial Reflections page, honoring and remembering Christy as an inspiration to herself and others.
