NEW: A drive-by shooting in Norristown, PA has exposed rival sex-trafficking operations allegedly running between New York City and Pennsylvania.

Police say two men were involved in a turf war over transporting women for prostitution — one was shot and both are now arrested and held without bail.

"At approximately 7:10 p.m., Raleigh Police Department officers were serving a search warrant at 7101 Woodbend Drive in connection with a felony arrest warrant to locate Mr. Solomon Owens (26), who was wanted by the Garner Police Department.

As officers were about to enter the residence, the suspect shot at the officers. At least one officer returned fire.

Mr. Owens sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  He has since been released from the hospital and is now in Raleigh police custody.
