The president speaks to world leaders at Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace about the vision of rebuilding Gaza.
POTUS convenes the inaugural Board Of Peace meeting at the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C.: "What we're doing is very simple β peace... We've been doing a really good job... we've had a great relationship... and I appreciate you being here."
POTUS: "Today, it's a tremendous honor to welcome you all to the United States Institute of Peace for the inaugural meeting of the Board Of Peace... I believe it's the most consequential board... there's never been anything close because these are the greatest world leaders."
POTUS to Sec.Rubio: "Marco, you really did yourself proud two days ago in Munich β in fact, so proud that I almost terminated his employ because they were saying, 'Why can't Trump do this?'"
POTUS addressed the Board Of Peace: "This meeting today is proof with determined leadership, nothing is impossible. When I took office, the war in Gaza was raging with thousands of people being killed, and no end in sight. Today, thanks to unrelenting diplomacy, and the commitment of many of the great people in this room...the war in Gaza is over."
"Since the hard-won ceasefire of last October, the United States and our partners have facilitated the delivery of vast amounts of humanitarian aid... In November, the United Nations Security Council unanimously approved the Board Of Peace, and last month in Davos, we welcomed over two dozen members to this very important new organization."
POTUS announces commitments of more than $7B toward the Gaza relief package from members of the Board Of Peace:
"Every dollar spent is an investment in stability... We want to have a harmonious Middle East."
POTUS: "We're providing a model for how responsible sovereign nations can cooperate to take responsibility for confronting problems in their own regions. The Board Of Peace is showing how a better future can be built, starting right here in this room."
"Now is the time for Iran to join us on a path that will complete what we're doing. If they join us, that'll be great. If they don't join us, that'll be great too β but it'll be a very different path. They cannot continue to threaten the stability of the entire region."
VP delivers remarks at the inaugural BoardOfPeace meeting: "The countries represented here represent trillions of dollars of investment in the United States of America that would not have been possible without POTUS' leadership and advocacy for peace."
Sec.Rubio praises the early success of the
BoardOfPeace on Gaza: "We hope that this can serve as a model for other complex and difficult situations, so they can be solved in the same way."

WATCH LIVE: President Donald J. Trump delivers remarks at Coosa Steel Corporation in Georgia
POTUS at Coosa Steel in Rome, Georgia: Your jobs were being stolen as foreign nations dumped their subsidized products on our market... but now, thanks to the fact that we got elected, and thanks to the Trump tariffs, business at Coosa Steel is booming again. π₯
"You're back to producing at full speed β two shifts a day... six days a week," says POTUS in describing the tariff success story of Coosa Steel in Georgia:
"Stories like this company's are right now playing out in cities all around the country." πΊπΈ
POTUS: "We've created more than 5,000 manufacturing jobs in Georgia alone...and as factory construction gets underway, we've created 70,000 new construction jobs... Today, more Americans in the prime of their life are part of our labor force than any time since 2001."
POTUS: "Under the last administration, every economic policy punished American workers and businesses like this oneβwhile rewarding those who outsourced to foreign nations. Under the Trump administration, our policy is the exact opposite."
Coosa Steel President Andrew Saville explains how POTUS' tariffs saved his business: "In October of 2025, we landed our first huge tire rack deal that we've had in 10 years. This is going to keep our racks department busy for two shifts a day, six days a week."
POTUS on his economic policies: "It's estimated that these policies will help raise income in this state by $7,000 in the coming years... boost household take-home pay by over $10,000, and protect more than 200,000 Georgia jobs."
Georgia pharmacy/grocery store owner explains how President Trump's tax cut is helping him upgrade his business to stay competitive:
"I'm grateful to have a President who understands small businesses are the backbone of a town like ours."
POTUS shares positive feedback from a womenβs clothing boutique owner in Georgia who looks forward to launching a Trump Account for her child.
TrumpAccounts.gov
RepLoudermilk: "We're going to return to that time in America that we all heard about, but our children have never experiencedβand we are seeing that come to fruition right now because of your leadership."
RepBrianJack: "It is special to welcome you back here. Weβre celebrating today the passage of the Working Families Tax Cut... it is abundantly clear those tax cuts are working here in Georgia, they're working across the country."
LtGovJonesGA: "When he said he was gonna put America First, he did just that. He shut down the border, he's bringing jobs back to this country."
POTUS: Rent prices have hit 4-year lows based on what we've done. By bringing down mortgage rates, we've also slashed the yearly cost of a new Mortgage by $4,000...In the last 12 months, Fannie & Freddie helped 22k first-time home buyers purchase a home right here in Georgia.
POTUS: "Under our Most Favored Nation Agreements... we're slashing drug prices by 400, 500, even 600 percent... now, we're paying what ever the lowest price is in the world."
