BREAKING: The San Francisco based 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has issued an order siding with DHS on termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for migrants from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Nepal, freezing a lower court order that vacated Secretary Noem’s decision to end the TPS protections.

The 9th Circuit writes:

“The government is likely to prevail in its argument that the Secretary’s decision-making process in terminating TPS for Honduras, Nicaragua, and Nepal was not arbitrary and capricious. Specifically, the government can likely show that the administrative record adequately supports the Secretary’s action, that the TPS statute does not require the Secretary to consider intervening country conditions arising after the events that led to the initial TPS designation, and that the Secretary’s decision not to consider intervening conditions does not amount to an unexplained change in policy.”

NEW: Three people were shot at the Phoenix Rising apartment complex in Auburn, WA police confirmed Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to the incident at the complex, a permanent supportive housing facility for homeless young adults ages 18-25, after receiving a report of a woman with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, they discovered two additional victims.

The public information officer indicated that the shooting likely occurred inside the establishment. At least once victim was shot multiple times. The shooter at large.

On Feb. 9, at the direction of SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations. Two narco-terrorists were killed and one survived the strike. Following the engagement, USSOUTHCOM immediately notified U.S. Coast Guard to activate the Search and Rescue system for the survivor.

A New York State trooper was injured in the line of duty while assisting a driver early Saturday morning on the westbound Thruway in Lancaster.
Two troopers were outside their patrol car on the left shoulder when a Kia sedan spun out of control and hit the rear of the troopers' vehicle, according to police. The impact pushed the patrol car into one of the troopers, causing her to be thrown into the snow on the side of the road.
The trooper, whose name has not been released, was taken to Erie County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. She has since been released.

A California parole board just granted “elder parole” to a 62 yr old child rapist from my county. 

In 2000, a jury convicted him of over 20 counts of forcible rape and other crimes against a little girl, his step daughter.

He impregnated her as well and violently tried to induce miscarriage by pushing her out of a car. He pointed a gun at her too and pulled the trigger. It misfired.

He was sentenced by a Yolo judge to 139 years in prison.

In what crazy world does a monster like this get out early because of his age.

The CA legislature and Governor Newsom need to stop this insanity. Change the law.

Beware The Quiet Man.

A deer was rescued after it was seen struggling on the frozen surface of Loon Lake in Washington.

Video shows the deer having difficulty standing on the ice. After crews arrived at the scene, one firefighter was seen restraining the animal while others pulled a rope to guide the deer back to shore.

The deer was eventually set free.
