NEW: Senate Majority Leader John Thune just thew cold water on the list of 10 ICE demands that Schumer & Jeffries made last night:

β€œIt’s totally unrealistic, their demand list went from 3 items to 10 items,” Thune said. β€œIt just shows you they’re not serious. There’s a bunch of stuff in there that’s a non-starter, and they know it. Maybe they had to put it in there to satisfy MoveOn or some of their left wing special interest groups.”

The hot temperatures will continue in Southern California on Thursday. Clouds will begin to increase in the morning and at night with a cool down starting on Friday.

Northern California: Even though the National Weather Service issued a Dense Fog Advisory only for the San Joaquin Valley on Thursday, parts of Sacramento are also seeing heavy fog this morning. The fog advisory is in effect through noon for Stockton, Modesto and other Central Valley counties south of Stanislaus County. Meteorologist Ophelia Young said the fog will eventually give way to sunny skies and spring-like temperatures. Thursday's forecast high for downtown Sacramento is 68 degrees.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of one of our own.

After a long and courageous battle with terminal brain cancer, an Anaheim Police investigator Jaime Llamas passed away peacefully last night at home, surrounded by loved ones.

He served our community with dedication and professionalism since 2006, and his impact on this department and the people we serve will not be forgotten.

In honor of his service, uniformed personnel and our Honor Guard stood by as he was escorted from his home with dignity and respect, while our Air Support helicopter, Angel, flew overhead in tribute. It was a powerful reminder of the bond shared by those who wear the badge."

Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of blue and blood.πŸ™πŸ»

BREAKING: DHS confirms to Bill Melugin that a semi-truck driver arrested for causing a head on crash in Indiana that killed 4 people on Tuesday is a Kygryzstani national who entered the US via the Biden administration's CBP One cell phone app on 12/19/2023 at the Nogales, AZ port of entry, and was released into the US via parole by the Biden admin.

Police say 30-year-old Bekzhan Beishekeev was driving on SR 67 in Jay County, Indiana when he didn’t stop for another slowed semi-truck, swerving instead into oncoming traffic and crashing head-on into a van, killing four people, several of whom were reportedly Amish, according to local media.

ICE records show Beishekeev is now in ICE custody, meaning local law enforcement honored a detainer and already handed him over.

A reminder, the Biden era CBP One cell phone app allowed 50,000 to 60,000 otherwise inadmissible aliens to enter the US legally every month for two year humanitarian parole grants. President Trump terminated the program the day he was inaugurated, and has since turned it into a self deportation app.

More to come on this as we get it.
