UPDATE: Local and federal law enforcement have secured the hotel where anti-ice rioters were at. Unsure of any arrests, but the crowd has dispersed and LE has the location under control.

An officer was injured late Friday night following a chase that ended in Licking, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Cpl. Jacob Sellars said a 1998 Lincoln Town Car driven by a 44-year-old Houston man was being pursued when it lost control, spun 180 degrees and accelerated toward a 2016 Ford Explorer driven by the officer. At the time, Sellars said the law enforcement officer’s vehicle was stopped or nearly stopped. The Lincoln struck the Explorer and a stack of pallets on Green Street before coming to rest.

The officer, a 37-year-old Houston man, was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
