Two Portland cops get shot overnight by Lloyd Center, and who shows up for the cameras?
Potbellied Police Chief Bob Day and Mayor Weird-ass Wilson.

So Iโ€™ll ask the real question nobody in Portland media has the spine to ask:
Why is the Portland Police Bureau purging cops and administrative staff who arenโ€™t politicized, pacified, and obedient?

The irony is insane. This happened at Holladay Park, named after the Holladay family, tied to the same era as Doc Holliday and the OK Corral. Hard men. Violent times. Lawmen who understood force, consequence, and order. That plaza and the buildings around it arenโ€™t named after โ€œholidayโ€ like Christmas, theyโ€™re named after a lineage forged in shootouts and real law enforcement.

Now contrast that with what we get:
A soft, bureaucratic, optics-obsessed police chief responding to cops getting shot like itโ€™s a PR exercise.
Hard times create tough men.
Tough men create good times.
Good times create soft men.
Soft men create bad times.

Portland is drowning in the last stage.

Bob Day purging critical, independent cops doesnโ€™t stop violence, it accelerates it. This isnโ€™t bad luck. Itโ€™s the predictable outcome of neutering an institution meant to confront danger, not negotiate with it.

This is the death spiral of the Portland Police Bureau, and last night was just another chapter.

In President Trumpโ€™s first year back in office, nearly 3 million illegal aliens have left the U.S. because of the Trump administrationโ€™s crackdown on illegal immigration, including an estimated 2.2 million self-deportations and more than 675,000 deportations.

In the last year, fentanyl trafficking at the southern border has also been cut by more than half compared to the same period in 2024. The U.S. Coast Guard alone seized enough cocaine to kill more than 177 million Americans.

Meanwhile, we have saved taxpayers more than $13.2 billion here at DHS. Countless lives have been saved, communities have been strengthened, and the American people have been put first again.

WATCH LIVE: White House holds briefing one year since Trump's inauguration.

POTUS takes the podium in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room on the one year anniversary of the start of his second term: "It's been an amazing period of time... We've done more than any other administration has done by far."

POTUS holds up mugshots of some of the heinous criminals his administration has arrested in Minnesota:

"Many of them murderers... do you want to live with these people?"

POTUS: "$19 billion, at a minimum, is missing in Minnesota โ€” given to a large degree by Somalians. They've taken it... I was told that Ilhan Omar is worth $30 million and she's never had a job. She's a crooked Congressman."

POTUS recaps a historic Year One: "We ended Biden's stagflation... created super high economic growth, and America is booming... 4th Quarter GDP is on track to pass perhaps much more than 5% growth... we've had the best stock market in history, the best 401(k)s in history."

POTUS: "We added $9 trillion of value to retirement accounts, savings accounts, and 401(k)s... lifted more than 1.2 million Americans off of food stamps in one year."

POTUS lists off some of the historic investments secured during his first year in office, totaling $18T:

"I left a Ford plant a week ago in Michigan that they were going to close... and now, they just announced that they're going 24 hours around the clock, making cars."

POTUS: "We secured Most Favored Nation agreements to slash drug prices by as much as 300, 400, 500, and even 600%."

POTUS: We inherited high numbers and we brought them way down. Look at gasoline โ€” there are places in the country now with gas at $1.99/gallon. Other places are $2.50/gallon. Under Biden, gas prices were $4/gallon, $5/gallon, and even higher.

We signed the One Big Beautiful Bill, delivering the largest tax cuts in history... we slashed the federal budget deficit by 27% in a single year. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

POTUS: "Using tariffs, [I] slashed the trade deficit by an incredible 77%... We secured historic trade deals to reduce barriers on U.S. exports with countries covering 40% of all U.S. trade."

"Under Biden, 1 out of 4 jobs added was a government job... Under Trump, 100 PERCENT of all new jobs created have been in the private sector."

"For the first time in 50 years, we are now seeing REVERSE MIGRATION."

POTUS: "We halted all refugee admissions to the United States, including from Somalia โ€” which is a terrible, terrible place... About the only thing they're good at is they're good at pirating ships."

POTUS: "I ended the Green New Scam, and I ended the insane electric vehicle mandate."

POTUS: "We banned transgenders from the military... made it the official policy of the United States government that there are only 2 genders... banned the use of puberty blockers, hormone injections, and other chemical and surgical mutilation of children."

POTUS: "The UN just hasn't been very helpful. I'm a big fan of the UN's potential, but it has never lived up to its potential. The UN should have settled every one of the wars that I settled."

REPORTER: "How far are you willing to go to acquire Greenland?"

POTUS: "You'll find out."

POTUS: "Remember when they used to say that 'the people that come into our country as immigrants are very nice people. They're wonderful people. They don't commit crimes.' No, they make our criminals look like babies."

"They make our Hells Angels look like the sweetest people on earth. The Hells Angels are now considered a nice, high quality person. I like the Hells Angels. They voted for me...they protected me, actually, believe it or not."

The irony could not be more palpable.

This week, Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar compared federal immigration enforcement in the United States to conditions in her native Somalia during remarks at a Democratic field hearing.

One of the main reasons I left the Democrat Party was because of their hostility towards God and those who have faith in or are trying to cultivate their love for God. Those so-called 'protestors' who tried to intimidate and terrorize innocent women, children, and men in the Minneapolis church is just another example of their hostility towards God and His worshippers. Such behavior is demoniac and should be condemned by everyone, and those who took part in such intimidation tactics should be held accountable.

WATCH LIVE: DHS officials hold briefing on ICE operations in Minneapolis

BORDER PATROL COMMANDER GREG BOVINO: โ€œSince the start of this operation, we've arrested some of the most dangerous criminal offenders operating in Minnesota.โ€

โ€œIn the entire state of Minnesota, we have arrested some of the violent criminal offenders right here in this city.โ€

โ€œThese are not minor violators or minor garden-variety criminals. These are repeat offenders with serious criminal histories.โ€

โ€œMurders, rapists, gang members, they're not the people we want in our community.โ€

โ€œWe will continue enforcing the law, we will continue making arrests and we will continue working to keep Minneapolis safe.โ€

โ€œThe mission continues at the border and in the interior. Because that effective enforcement depends on both occurring at the same time."
