SAUDI ARABIA claims to have “material evidence” which will prove Iran was behind attacks which left two major oil production plants in flames at the weekend, in a development which could have far-reaching implications for the Middle East.

Saudi Arabia's defence ministry today presented Iranian weapons at a press conference in a bid to prove Iranian involvement.

Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki said a total of 25 drones and missiles were launched at two oil plants in last weekend's strikes, including what he identified as Iranian Delta Wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and "Ya Ali" cruise missiles.

He said the missiles have been used by Iran's Revolutionary Guards.

A woman who admitted to attempting to commit suicide by driving head-on into a large truck has been charged with multiple crimes a result. According to police, Texas resident Laura Mayeaux, was driving very slowly southbound along the northbound lanes of I-35 in Texas. The dramatic moment two Tennessee law enforcement officers saved a young man from jumping off a bridge has been caught on bodycam footage. The Knox County Sheriff's Office posted the heroic save from April 8 on their Facebook page and praised their very own TANGO Traffic Unit Deputy Brian Rehg. The Facebook captions says: 'Officer Rehg along with KPD Lt. Chris McCarter grabbed and held onto the young man just seconds before he went over the bridge. Because of their vigilance and quick actions the young man is alive today.' 👮🏻‍♂️

A Chinese province which borders Hong Kong has ordered 150,000 police officers to step up their effort in anti-riot campaigns in a warning to anti-government protesters in the financial hub. The police authority of Guangdong Province in southern China urged the land, naval and air forces across the region to conduct more drills to improve their combat capabilities ahead of the country's National Day on October 1.

A Belgian F-16 fighter jet crashed Thursday in western France, damaging a house, setting a field ablaze and leaving a pilot suspended for two hours from a high-voltage electricity line after his parachute got caught, according to French authorities.
