Wisconsin: A Waukesha County Sheriff’s deputy is recovering after accidentally shooting themselves in the foot at the Waukesha County Technical College firing range in Pewaukee.

WCTC says the incident occurred 8:23am on January 13 while deputies with the sheriff’s office were participating in a private training at the facility.

The deputy was treated at a nearby hospital and released; their identity was not provided by WCTC or the sheriff’s office.

WATCH: Bill Melugin caught up w/ progressive Congresswoman Maxine Dexter (D-OR) today & asked her why she didn’t wait for any facts before putting out an inflammatory statement about the Border Patrol shooting in Portland last week, in which she said ICE only brings “terror and cruelty”, is “using violence to control our communities” & called for an end to all immigration enforcement in Portland.

It was later revealed that the suspects shot were two Venezuelan illegal aliens with alleged Tren de Aragua links who DOJ says had used a pickup truck to repeatedly ram into a Border Patrol vehicle. I also asked if she considers those Venezuelan gang members to be her “neighbors”.
