Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison: "We're here to announce a lawsuit we're filing against the United States Department of Homeland Security to end the unlawful, unprecedented surge of the federal law enforcement agents into Minnesota, because this has to stop."

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Mississippi is mourning the loss of one of its own following a tragic accident.

The department announced on social media Saturday that jailer Kerry Waldrop was killed in an accident Friday. Additional details surrounding the crash were not released.

Waldrop, 34, joined the department last year and was remembered by MCSD as a “great and loyal employee.”
