UPDATE: Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking  ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism.

An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. 

He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers. 

The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. The ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries.
 
This is the direct consequence of constant attacks and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement. These men and women who are simply enforcing the law on the books are facing 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats. 

This is an evolving situation, and we will give the public more information as soon as it becomes available.

Massachusetts Law enforcement officials have identified the Uxbridge police officer who died in a crash while helping a driver on an icy highway early Wednesday morning.

In an early afternoon update, Uxbridge Police Chief Marc Montminy identified the officer as 43-year-old Stephen LaPorta.

Police said the crash happened around 12:40 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway.
The officer, identified as 43-year-old Stephen LaPorta, was helping a driver at the time of the crash.

Despite lifesaving efforts by first responders, police said LaPorta was pronounced dead at the scene.

“This is a devastating loss for our department and our community,” Chief Marc Montminy said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the officer’s family, loved ones, and fellow officers during this incredibly difficult time.”

A new year doesn't change what police officers deal with.

It was reported that at a 37-year-old male approached and viciously attacked a Port Authority police officer on patrol in a JFK Airport terminal. The attack was unprovoked and caused the officer significant injuries. Though injured, the officer was able to protect the public from injury and take the suspect into custody. The officer was hospitalized for evaluation of his injuries.

Investigation of the incident revealed the suspect was reported missing from Long Beach, California and was in need of medical attention.

The Port Authority PBA is grateful that the officer will recover completely.

I have just viewed the clip of the event which took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is a horrible thing to watch. The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self defense. Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital. The situation is being studied, in its entirety, but the reason these incidents are happening is because the Radical Left is threatening, assaulting, and targeting our Law Enforcement Officers and ICE Agents on a daily basis. They are just trying to do the job of MAKING AMERICA SAFE. We need to stand by and protect our Law Enforcement Officers from this Radical Left Movement of Violence and Hate! PRESIDENT DONALD J.
