NEW: A Las Vegas officer was injured when they were rear-ended while inside a patrol car Wednesday night, according to police.

The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. at Rainbow Boulevard and Endora Drive, just north of Flamingo Road, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.

The officer had performed a vehicle stop for routine traffic violations. While the officer was in their patrol vehicle finishing the citations, a car hit them from behind.

Police say the officer was taken to UMC with minor injuries.

The driver who hit the police vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

A 27-year-old woman is facing assault and motor vehicle charges after dragging a cop while driving away from a crash in Beacon Hill.

Roslindale woman Avagadra Lipson allegedly struck a car with her vehicle and then dragged a police officer while fleeing the scene — injuring the cop’s foot.

West Palm Beach Station agents, working with the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), recently arrested a Cuban career criminal with a history of burglary, assault and battery, theft of over $100K, and kidnapping of a minor. Despite being ordered deported in 2000, this individual continued to break the law and remained in the country illegally.

The family of the Santaquin police officer killed in the line of duty filed a lawsuit against his accused murderer.

Kinda Hooser, the wife of the late Billy Hooser, filed a lawsuit against Michael Jayne, as well as Sierra Nevada Trucking, Valley Fine Foods, and "Jane and John Does," who share liability.

Billy was killed on May 5, 2024, while responding to an emergency call about a semi-truck.

Montana Disaster and Emergency Services is warning of increased flooding in Lincoln County that has affected several key bridges and led to closures on Hwy 2 between Libby and Kalispell as well as Hwy 56 between Libby and Noxon due to water across the roads.

The Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office is requesting ONLY necessary travel.

When the Attorney General is under scrutiny and the watchdog refuses to bark, that’s is the definition of a cover-up.
