BREAKING UPDATE: Authorities identify the man killed in a stabbing in Santa Monica as a Grammy-nominated opera singer.

The man who was found dead inside a home in Santa Monica has been identified as renowned opera singer Jubilant Sykes. His son, 31-year-old Micah Sykes, has been taken into custody.

UPDATE: Multiple people wanted in Stockton CA shooting.

Officials confirmed Tuesday that they are seeking multiple people in connection with the Stockton shooting that left four people dead and 13 more injured during a 2-year-old's birthday. 

San Joaquin County Sheriff Patrick Withrow, whose agency is the lead investigator, said they've received 50 anonymous tips so far but need the public's help in receiving more information that could lead to an arrest. 

At a Tuesday news briefing, Withrow said investigators found at least 50 shell casings, which indicate that at least five different firearms were used. However, he clarified that that does not mean there were five gunmen. He said officials are also looking into whether people at the party fired back but that the process of examining bullet trajectories will take a while to determine.

BREAKING: Multiple people have been injured during a shooting at  Kentucky State University

Frankfort Police say they responded to an active aggressor around 3:35 PM on the south campus.

One suspect is now in custody, but KSU remains on lockdown until further notice as law enforcement continues to secure the area.

University officials and Kentucky’s Governor have confirmed multiple victims, though their conditions have not yet been released.

Oklahoma: A Tulsa Police officer was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday night.

According to police, officers had a vehicle stopped near the 3900 block of West Edison Drive around 11 p.m. While standing at the window of another patrol car, a man drived by clipping the officer's arm with their side mirror.

Officers tracked down the driver who later went to the hospital after claiming to have a medical issue. The driver who struck the officer was given citations for no license, driving left of center, and failing to yield for an emergency vehicle.

Officials say the officer sustained minor injuries and returned to duty.

In honor of a fallen Illinois trooper who was injured in a crash, law enforcement just carried out an operation that netted 31 felony charges.

A press released just shared by the Illinois State Police Public Information Office detailed a crime sweep just carried out in honor of Trooper Brian Frank, who served as a member of the Illinois State Police Highway Interdiction Team before being severely injured in a crash in 2021. Fortunately, he survived. They executed an interdiction and crime suppression detail from November 17 through November 25 in the northern part of the state. This operation resulted in the following:

Can anyone explain to me how a dude who literally robbed people for a living is now going to contribute towards public safety?

I mean, we know Mamdani believes crime is just a “social construct” and armed robbers are just victims of some sort of oppression, or something, but I’m failing to see how the public should listen to anything this man has to say.

I mean… what did this man’s victims think about public safety? Can we ask them?

Again, if you are a resident of NYC and you voted for Mamdani, I’m going to ask you to stay exactly where you are. Don’t move. Don’t even complain. Sit exactly where you are and receive every consequence of your vote. It’s what you wanted.

Also, notice how the left loves to call Trump a convicted felon, but has nothing to say about this. Guess it’s just (D)ifferent.
