This year, we had the distinct privilege of welcoming 400 incredibly brave children, each facing significant challenges due to severe disabilities, abuse, neglect, or domestic violence.

The "999 For Kids" program serves as an essential beacon of hope, raising crucial funds to support these deserving children with necessary items and services. The program organizes a joyful annual Christmas party to ensure that these children experience the magic of the holiday season.

Through these compassionate efforts, we aim to bring light and support to our community's most vulnerable members, helping nurture their spirits and enhance their quality of life.

Oklahoma: A golf tournament and fundraiser were held on Saturday in Choctaw to support deputy Mark Johns, who was shot in the line of duty while serving an eviction notice three years ago.

Johns, who has served Oklahoma County for three decades, was injured in the same incident that claimed the life of Sergeant Bobby Swartz.

Curtis Back said he has known Johns for about 55 years and worked alongside him at the sheriff's office.

"I just hope he gets on the recovery path because he has a lot of years ahead of him... I love you man,” Back said.

The event holds significant meaning for Johns' friend, as it demonstrates the community's care and support for Johns' path to recovery.🙏🏻
