Cop's life saved by ballistic vest:

Chicago PD says an officer’s vest saved his life after he was shot in the chest during a struggle with an armed man in Morgan Park early Sunday.

In a written statement, the CPD said uniformed officers from the 22nd District encountered a group of people involved in an altercation around 12:54 a.m., including a 35-year-old armed man and an 18-year-old man. As officers tried to separate them, the gunman’s weapon discharged, striking the teen and the officer, according to the statement.

A second officer returned fire, shooting the armed man and inadvertently hitting the teen again, according to CPD. Both men were taken to hospitals in fair condition. The officer who was shot has been treated and released.

EXCLUSIVE: ICE agents captured several criminal illegal aliens during an operation in Somali-land Minnesota on Saturday.

Democrat politicians are claiming ICE “kidnapped” innocent members of the community.

Sources tell me the targets were apprehended on a warrants. A male subject allegedly assaulted officers but was successfully apprehended.

Wisconsin: A police officer was hospitalized Sunday morning they being shot during a traffic stop in Superior.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ), the incident began around 2:44 a.m., when Superior Police Officers were called to a residence for a domestic dispute.

A vehicle, believed to have been driven by someone affiliated with the incident, was spotted near Tower Avenue and North 37th Street, and a traffic stop was conducted by a Superior Police Officer.

After stopping, the driver reportedly exited the vehicle and shot at the officer, hitting them. The struck officer and another Superior Police Officer returned fire, hitting the suspect, who fled in a car.

Aid was provided to the injured officer, who was taken to the hospital for treatment before being released later that day.
