NEW: An officer was injured in a hit-and-run in North Philadelphia on Friday afternoon, according to police.

Police said an officer was struck in the area of Marshall Street and Lehigh Avenue around 2:30 p.m., and the driver fled the scene. The driver then crashed into a house at 8th and Cambria streets, about a mile away from the initial scene. The driver fled on foot, police said.

The officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

VPD detectives recently observed a wanted fugitive force entry into a storage unit facility in East Vancouver. When officers moved in to make an arrest, the suspect fled on foot, climbed a barbed-wire fence, and ran into a nearby industrial complex. The chase didn’t last long. 💪 Officers located the suspect hiding nearby and took him into custody.

Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) footage captured the forced entry, the attempted escape, and officers closing in. The suspect was wanted on multiple out-of-state felony warrants and now faces additional charges related to the burglary.

A second suspect was contacted nearby who helped coordinate the burglary and acted as the lookout. Officers recovered fraudulent IDs, stolen financial documents, burglary tools, burner phones, and keys to other storage facilities. The U-Haul used during the crime had been rented under a stolen identity and was seized for a search warrant.

The suspect, Michael Humphrey, was booked into the Clark County Jail on the following charges:

Illinois: Multiple sources confirmed that an officer has been shot in the 1500 block of Johnson Road in Granite City Friday afternoon.

Multiple units are responding. The suspect is still at large; an active manhunt is underway at this time.

Suspect description: white male wearing all dark clothing, dark-colored beanie, possibly a hood, dark hair, and a jacket with reflective stripes on the sleeve. The firearm he's carrying, which was used to shoot the police officer, has orange details on it.

At this time, there is no official word on the officer’s condition or details surrounding the circumstances of the incident.

SHERIFF’S CENTRAL POP TEAM UNCOVERS LARGE-SCALE ILLEGAL DRUG OPERATION

Last night, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Central POP Team, with the assistance of SED, GSU, SCOUT, North HIP, RCPD CSU, and Folsom SWAT served a search warrant at a residence on Bar Du Lane in South Sacramento County, uncovering a large-scale illegal marijuana “pop-up” sales  operation run out of a private home.

The primary suspect, 45-year-old Joseph Marques, who is also the owner of Sacramento Elite Patrol (a private security guard service), is believed to have been operating a “pop-up” marijuana and narcotics enterprise from his residence. Marques was not located during the operation and is believed to be in Mexico. He is currently wanted in connection with this investigation.

During the search, Deputies seized narcotics, firearms, and cash with an estimated street value exceeding $2.5 million, including:

    •    300+ pounds of processed marijuana
    •    5+ pounds of psilocybin mushrooms
    •    36+ kilograms of THC wax
    •    5,000+ THC vape pens
    •    3 illegal firearms  including one stolen pistol
    •    $17,000+ in cash

Deputies also arrested three adults at the scene for possession of cocaine for sale, fentanyl, felon in possession of ammunition, and an outstanding felony warrant.

The investigation into Marques and the scope of his operation remains ongoing. That is why I have just signed a Presidential Memorandum directing the Department of Health and Human Services to “FAST TRACK” a comprehensive evaluation of Vaccine Schedules from other Countries around the World, and better align the U.S. Vaccine Schedule, so it is finally rooted in the Gold Standard of Science and COMMON SENSE!
