NEW: DPS Finds 23 Illegal Immigrants Stuffed Inside Truck Cab in La Salle Co.
On 11-28-2025, a @TxDPS Trooper stopped a Freightliner truck tractor on I-35 in La Salle Co. The driver, John David Amaya, 24, of Laredo, was operating without a CDL.
With help from a Border Patrol K-9, the trooper discovered 23 illegal immigrants packed inside the vehicle’s sleeping area.
Amaya was arrested and charged with 23 counts of Smuggling of Persons (3rd-degree felony). The illegal immigrants — from Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Mexico — were referred to U.S. Border Patrol.
This is part of DPS’ ongoing commitment to border security under Operation Lone Star 2.0. As a reminder, Gov. Greg Abbott, who signed legislation in 2023 creating a mandatory 10-year minimum prison sentence for convicted smugglers, if convicted, Amaya could face significant prison time.

BREAKING: LA County’s Mask Ban for Law Enforcement Isn’t About “Transparency”, it’s about optics, control, and a convenient re-write of history.
LA County Supervisors didn’t suddenly wake up concerned about civil liberties. They woke up concerned about headlines.
This ordinance, banning on-duty deputies and federal agents from wearing masks or concealing their identities, is political theater dressed up as reform. And the Supervisors know it.
Why? Because it collides head-on with the Supremacy Clause, meaning the County has zero authority to tell ICE, DHS, or any federal agency what they can or can’t wear during operations. They passed it anyway. Optics over law. Again.
And the timing isn’t accidental.
This comes after June 2025, when masked federal agents flooded LA streets during immigration raids and the County completely lost control of the narrative. Now they’re trying to rewrite the script, but constitutional reality is not on their side.
Meanwhile, the communities they claim to “protect” are still dealing with the fallout of those very raids. And instead of demanding accountability from the agencies responsible, the Board chose an ordinance that won’t survive its first legal challenge.
Might I also remind when Horvath and Hahn approved “emergency funding” for illegal
aliens affected by ICE raids a few months back. They moved forward with it even though County Counsel told them it was illegal to do so!
POLITICAL THEATER.

NEW: I’m told by an ICE source that the 18th Street gang member who shot and killed Burbank PD K9 “Spike” after a foot pursuit on November 22nd is a Salvadoran illegal alien. 37-year-old Jose Domingo Ayala Alas was later killed by police in a shootout. Had prior weapons arrests.
Local write up on what happened. As usual, no Los Angeles media outlets have made any mention of his legal status.

BREAKING: ICE arrests illegal immigrant working as an Illinois police officer An illegal alien from Montenegro—Radule Bojovic—was arrested after working as a sworn officer with the Hanover Park PD in Gov. Pritzker’s Illinois. He had a badge, gun, and pension…
BREAKING: The illegal immigrant Illinois cop scooped up by ICE in October has since been re-hired by the Hanover Police Department.
Radule Bojovic, an illegal alien from Montenegro, overstayed a B2 tourist visa that required him to leave the U.S. on March 31, 2015.
An immigration judge granted the 25-year-old illegal immigrant a $2,500 immigration bond just two weeks after he was picked up by ICE.
Now, he's back to "full duty status" with the department, which will give him "back pay" for the time he served in ICE detention.

BREAKING UPDATE: They called it a “solution” - a $27.3 million shell game disguised as homeless housing.
But the truth is uglier: the Weingart Center Association bought a 76-unit senior complex in Cheviot Hills, paid for with taxpayer money, from a developer who had just purchased it weeks earlier for $11.2 Mil. No renovations. No improvements. Just a staggering markup and a rubber-stamp appraisal that ignored the original sale.
Behind closed-door confidentiality clauses, bundled political donations to key officials, and silent campaign checks, the city green-lit the deal.
Now, that same nonprofit, once praised as LA’s “trusted” homeless-service provider, is at the center of a federal fraud investigation.
This isn’t a homelessness crisis. It’s a homelessness business.
