Something the general public is largely unaware of is the frustration among many law enforcement officers and detectives when a case is closed, a suspect is found guilty of a heinous crime, and theyβre given little to no jail time. If you have a case like this please share it.

Kansas: Three people, including a Sedgwick County sheriffβs deputy, were injured this morning in what the Sheriffβs Office described as a vicious dog attack in the Oaklawn neighborhood.
Just after 10 a.m., sheriffβs deputies responded to a reported dog attack in the 4600 block of South Hemlock. In a media release, public Information officer Branden Stitt said the incident began when a 69-year-old woman went to visit her son, who lives in the neighborhood. The dogs, which were inside the home, bit her. As she ran from the home, the media release describes, the dogs chased after her and attacked a nearby 18-year-old man.
Stitt wrote that when deputies arrived at the scene, they found 10 to 15 dogs believed to be Boston terriers running loose in the neighborhood.
As the deputies tried to help the injured teen, the dogs attacked a deputy.
The 18-year-old was taken to a Wichita hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The 69-year-old woman, Stitt said, took a private vehicle to receive treatment for her injuries. The deputy attacked by the dogs reportedly had minor injuries.
Please, pray for all affectedππ»
