A Shively Police Department, Kentucky officer was taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle while helping with a tow. The driver stayed on scene and is cooperating. Thankfully, the officer is expected to recover.

Two Police Officers of the Iowa City Public Safety were injured while chasing a wanted man who ran after allegedly threatening a woman with a gun. One officer suffered a broken leg and the other sustained cuts and rib injuries during the pursuit. A K9 later found a backpack linked to the suspect containing a loaded firearm and illegal substances.
