Officers from the NYPD73Pct responded to a 911 call for a man with a gun at 1046 Thomas S. Boyland Street. When they arrived, the suspect barricaded himself inside and shot an NYPD officer.

The injured officer was rushed to Brookdale Hospital in the back of a police car.

The suspect is still barricaded on the first floor, believed to be armed with a shotgun. ESU, HNT, and TARU are en route.
