Prayers for Cass County Sheriffs deputy who was shot in the line of duty tonight. 🙏🏻

Minnesota: Units are on scene of an officer involved shooting. An officer was shot during a foot pursuit just after 5 p.m. near the Bayside Resort. Officers applied two tourniquets which stopped the bleeding. A medical helicopter was requested to the scene for the injured officer, who was awake and breathing. The suspect is reportedly deceased. The Minnesota BCA has been notified and will be responding to the scene.

LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER INJURED DURING ENFORCEMENT OPERATION.

This afternoon in Charlotte near University City, a United States citizen weaponized his vehicle, driving a large van at law enforcement while they were conducting an operation. He immediately fled the scene, starting a dangerous high-speed chase through a densely populated area. During the chase, he attempted to ram into  law enforcement vehicles— posing a serious public safety threat. As agents were boxing him in— the driver proceeded to ram law enforcement vehicles in an attempt to escape. When the driver was arrested, a firearms was found in the vehicle.

One law enforcement officer was injured.

Today I served pre-Thanksgiving meals to Texas National Guard stationed on the border.

We were joined by Border Czar Tom Homan & Governors of MO, NE, TN & VA.

We thanked them for all they do to maintain control of the border. Working with Trump, illegal immigration is now lowest this century.

Many of our Texas National Guard are deputized border patrol agents to be a force multiplier on the border. The President of the Border Patrol Council, Paul Perez, joined us too.

Our Texas Dept. of Public Safety officers remain active on the border, working with ICE to arrest illegal immigrants & tracking down drug cartels.
