Our movement for sanity in California won't be stopped by Newsom's gerrymander. Just like it wasn't stopped by his own staff member running against me last year.
In contrast to Newsom's rabid partisanship, we're fighting for all Californians. That's why we can win under any map.

My jaw hit the floor listening to this
Las Cruces Chief of Police in New Mexico says a man has broken the windows in City Hall multiple times, every time his felonies are dismissed
He βhas been arrested at least 108 TIMES, with at least 15 of those being feloniesβ
βMr. Garcia had had several cases dismissed because he was found incompetent, and again, that's being dismissed without consequences or treatment. He was also deemed to be not dangerous by the courts. But let me give you a few of his recent involvements:β
- November 2022: Confronted by a GameStop employee, where he cussed him out and pushed him.
- December 2022: Caught shoplifting at a Walgreens. He threatened the security guard that he had a gun, and then he punched him.
- April 2023: Two incidents where he was caught shopliftingβone at a Dollar General, where he swung a strap with a lock on it at an employee, and the other at Loweβs Fiesta Foods, where he threatened several employees and then punched the manager.
- June 2023: Threatened employees at the Savers Thrift Store with a bat.
- July 2023: Punched a Murphyβs gas station employee, and then threw a rock through the window of a random vehicle in the parking lot.
- August and September 2023: Punched two separate people at Albertsons while being confronted with shoplifting.
- March 2024: Swung a golf club at two separate people while shoplifting at Harbor Freight.
- April 2025: Punched a Walmart employee after he was caught shoplifting.
βI would argue that he poses a clear danger to the public and the community, and the people he is victimizing are people who are just working and trying to live their lives in the community that we all share. From 2022 to 2025, he has been arrested over 70 times.β

A dog and a person were shot and a police officer was injured Sunday afternoon in San Francisco, the fire department said.
Officials said they received a call just before 4:30 p.m. at O'Farrell and Market streets regarding a shooting.
Upon arrival, the fire department said they found a person who was shot in the leg. That person got transported to a local hospital in stable condition, according to authorities.
Fire department officials also report finding an officer who was bit by a dog and a dog suffering from a gunshot wound. It is unclear if the dog suffering from the gunshot wound was the same one that bit the officer.
Authorities said the police officer was being evaluated and the dog was taken to animal care and control in stable condition.
The fire department said the dog seemed to have belonged to the suspect mentioned in the initial call. There was another person who was injured, but they did not want to go to the hospital, according to officials.

Officer-Involved Shooting in the Tenderloin District
On November 9, 2025, at approximately 4:27 p.m., San Francisco Police officers were flagged down by a dog bite victim in the area of Market and OβFarrell streets.
Officers learned that a large off leashed dog bit the victim unprovoked and continued showing aggression towards others in the area.
SFPD officers made contact with a male subject and his dog. While officers were attempting to detain the subject and secure the dog, an officer-involved shooting occurred.
Officers on scene rendered aid, and paramedics transported the subject to a local hospital for his non-life-threatening injuries. The initial dog bite victim self-transported himself to a local hospital for his injuries.
Animal Care and Control (ACC) responded to the scene and took custody of the dog.
