Law enforcement are lining up outside HCA Florida Kendall Hospital after a Miami-Dade Deputy Devin Jaramillo was shot and killed in the line of duty.

A Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office deputy has died after he was shot during an altercation on Friday.

Devin Jaramillo, 27, responded to a traffic crash, where he was "brutally attacked and murdered," Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz said.

Good Samaritans called 911, and Jaramillo was transported to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Ohio: A Cheviot police officer was injured in a crash early Friday morning, according to officers who responded to the scene.

The crash happened at around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Werk Road and Glenmore Avenue in Westwood.

The officer had minor injuries after the crash and was taken to a hospital; police told us a K9 was also in the cruiser, but was not hurt.
