WATCH: The Jacksonville Police Department held a press conference at Jacksonville City Hall on Tuesday where they revealed the details of a shooting that left an officer injured on Sunday.

Officer Injured in Line of Duty During Traffic Control Incident

Airway Heights, WA — On the evening of November 3rd, Corporal Mike Ziegler was injured while performing traffic control duties at the intersection of 21st Street and Hayford Road. His patrol vehicle, positioned with emergency lights activated to protect the scene of a prior collision, was struck by a driver who failed to yield.

Emergency responders from the Airway Heights Fire Department and Spokane County Fire District 10 arrived quickly and worked with precision and care to extricate Corporal Ziegler from his vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. The Washington State Patrol is leading the investigation into the incident. Alcohol and/or drugs were not a factor in the collision.

We are incredibly grateful to report that Corporal Ziegler has since been treated and released to recover at home. He remains in stable condition and in good spirits.

Massachusetts: A Milford, Massachusetts, building was destroyed after a massive fire ripped through the structure Monday evening.

A triple-decker on Main Street in Milford was destroyed Monday night after flames spread fast from an apartment and toward a nearby restaurant. Milford Police arrived first and immediately began evacuating residents including children. During that rescue effort, one Milford Police officer was injured. Condition has not yet been released.

Several agencies are investigating an explosion that happened at a Harvard Medical School building. As the investigation continues, authorities now believe the explosion appears intentional.

BREAKING: Today, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War carried out a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization (DTO).
