We sadly announce the passing of Terry Brian Reed. He proudly served in state, county and local law enforcement for 28 years, some of those at Red River County Sheriff's Office, Texas as a sheriff. End of Watch 10.30.25 💙🕊

Prayers for the Addison Illinois Police officer who was shot in the line of duty.🙏🏻

The officer, who was wearing a Kevlar vest, was transported to a local hospital and is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.

In today’s era of policing, even the most routine calls can spiral into life-threatening confrontations within moments. Officers must balance compassion and caution in an increasingly unpredictable environment. It’s a stark reminder that every shift carries unseen danger. What began as a simple call turned dangerous in seconds, a reminder of the risks every officer faces.

The last few days have been full of tragedy. Prayers for first responders and family members. 🙏🏻

Porum Police Officer and Marine Veteran Richard Phillips, was tragically killed in an accident on Thursday.

McAlester/Pittsburg County Emergency Management lost two of their emergency responders Saturday during a vehicle accident at the races in Hartshorne and one died Friday evening while assisting with event preparations.

It is with sadness in our hearts we announce the death of Patrol Officer Richard Phillips.

He was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. Officer Phillips was a Marine veteran and served the Porum Police Department, Oklahoma. He leaves behind two young children. Please keep his children, his family and the Porum Police Department in your thoughts and prayers.

NEW: GOLF BALL SIZED HAIL BATTERS COASTAL BEND, TEXAS.

Severe storms slammed Portland and Ingleside this evening around 7pm unleashing massive golf ball-sized hail that shattered windshields, dented vehicles, and tore through rooftops. Drivers caught in the storm say it hit without warning, leaving cars like this one completely wrecked.

⚠️Stay alert, more storms could roll through the area tonight.

NEW: Mark Levine exploded in anger, declaring his full support for a plan to cancel and deplatform right-wing conservatives who dare to criticize Israel.

Olympic Blvd between LA Live Way and Grand Ave.

There will be no share rides (Uber/Lyft/Waymo) permitted to enter the area.

LAPD Central Division

The Live Oak Police Department posted an update on Officer Christopher Davis, who was seriously injured in a crash on Thursday.

"Officer Davis is certainly not out of the woods yet but he wanted everyone to know he’s pressing on. While staff are monitoring for infection and blood loss and a healthy dose of surgery is in his future, he’s confident for recovery. Chris says after a tour in Afghanistan,  everything else is an easy lift. He wanted everyone to know how grateful he and his family are for all the love, prayer and support they have received.
