“Ontario, CA - On October 30, 2025, at 6:33 a.m., the Ontario Police Department responded to a request for emergency assistance from Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officers regarding an officer-involved shooting in the 2800 Block of South Vineyard Avenue. Ontario Police Officers were not involved in the initial incident.

Several Ontario Police Officers responded to the scene to provide traffic control and scene security while DHS conducted their investigation. The Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are investigating the incident.”

This after a judge threatened to take the option of using tear gas away from federal agents and officers.

Chief Bovino says Tuesday was the “single most violent day” in his career with Border Patrol saying that after they left the courthouse they went to an area where Latin King gang members are known to frequent. He says they were closed in on by around 70 vehicles trying to ram agents and impede enforcement operations.

He says they arrested a suspected Latin King member during the op.

Remember: The Latin Kings put a hit out on Bovino, he says his response is to go after them even harder.

The New York State Police sadly announced the death of retired Zone Sergeant Steven W. Greene at the age of 65. 

On Friday, October 24, 2025, Zone Sergeant Greene passed away from an illness stemming from his assignment in and around the World Trade Center site following the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.

BREAKING: Governor Josh Stein, the NC Museum of Sciences and NC State University announced the discovery of a new tyrannosaur species called Nanotyrannus.

Paleontologists in the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences’ SECU DinoLab — the world’s only paleontology preparation lab regularly open to the public — have been studying the pair of exquisitely preserved, 67-million-year-old specimens called the “Dueling Dinosaurs” after the museum acquired them in 2020. Now, the lab’s first major research finding is being announced to the public, overturning a widely accepted scientific consensus on tyrannosaurs that had persisted for more than three decades.

The Dueling Dinosaurs fossil contains two dinosaurs preserved together in a potential predator-prey encounter: a Triceratopsand what was originally thought to be a juvenile tyrannosaur. They were found buried together in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana. That tyrannosaur is now confirmed to be a fully grown Nanotyrannus lancensis – not a teenage Tyrannosaurus rex, as many scientists once believed.
