Our officers loved joining the community for one of Anaheim’s favorite traditions—walking the parade route, seeing all the creative costumes, and celebrating with our community.

Last night, a sponsored event by a Skateboarding magazine, caused a modified tactical alert in the Downtown LA area.  People attending the event vandalized property and failed to disperse when requested to do so. 

As Officers continued to attempt to disperse the crowd, a person riding a skateboard at speed, attempted to run into a line of officers.  Others threw bottles and skateboard parts at the line of officers. 

Officers were able to clear the streets with less than lethal tactics and the damaged vehicles and vandalized property is being documented.

Hostage Situation at Missouri Prison Ends Safely Thanks to Swift Law Enforcement Response

A tense situation at the South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Missouri, came to a peaceful end Monday after nearly five hours.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, an inmate took a staff member hostage around 8:30 a.m. The situation was resolved by early afternoon, after negotiations led to the safe release of the hostage and the inmate’s surrender without incident.

No injuries were reported, and medical crews evaluated the staff member at the scene.
A special thanks goes to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Licking Police Department, and Texas County Sheriff’s Department for their professionalism, teamwork, and swift response that ensured everyone’s safety.

Arnold Schwarzenegger dropped a *TRUTH BOMB* on CNN this morning when host Fake Tapper tried to spin the GOP's redistricting efforts.

“No, Jake. There has been gerrymandering going on for 200 years. There is such, such extreme gerrymandering going on that in a state like Massachusetts that has like, 40% of the people voting for Trump, they only had ZERO representatives. The Republican Party has ZERO representatives sent to the House.

Think about that. In New Mexico if 45% of the people voted for Trump and voted Republican and ZERO is sent to the house, ZERO representatives from the Republican Party.

So there‘s gerrymandering, crazy gerrymandering going on all over the country. And we wanted to try to stop it in California. And we did stop it in California.

And we went around the country. So I think this whole thing about finger pointing and said 'they did it.' So therefore 'we should do it.' That‘s not really the way to go.

The one party should outperform the other party. It should be performance. And when it comes to midterm elections, as you know, always the party that is not in the White House usually wins by 20, 25, 30 seats.

So what does five seats matter in the first place in Texas? It is crazy. You should outperform them. That is where the action is.”

We are using the Texas Guard, the Dept. of Public Safety, & Dept. of Transportation to clean up & eliminate homeless encampments in Austin.

We are looking at other cities across Texas that need this action.

Cities should join this public safety action.

New Mexico: An Albuquerque Police Department officer and three other people were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Saturday after a two-vehicle crash near Coors and Irving.

An APD spokesperson said that the preliminary investigation showed a brown Mercedes SUV was turning left from northbound Coors into a shopping center. As the vehicle was crossing three lanes of stopped traffic, the APD unit was traveling in the fourth, far-right lane when it collided with the SUV.

The force of the impact knocked the SUV onto its roof. The adults in the driver and passenger seat were both treated for injuries but asked to be taken to the hospital. The passenger was holding a child in her arms during the crash. There were no visible injuries to the child but all three were transported for observation. The officer suffered a leg injury and was also sent to the hospital.

A temporary ground stop was issued Sunday morning for flights departing to LAX due to staffing issues, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Received this video from a citizen showing an on-duty Lake Worth PD officer playing basketball with a young man. The officer would never want recognition so I won’t reveal his name, but his actions represent the inherent goodness of officers all across our country. 🇺🇸
