Although this video may be extremely difficult to watch, it is an important example of the kinds of situations that our police officers may come across while performing their duties.

Yesterday morning, October 23, 2025, two of our officers responded to a vehicular collision on I-30 between Eastchase Parkway and Cooks Lane that resulted in the female driver and an infant child being ejected from the vehicle. The infant was pinned beneath the overturned vehicle and was unresponsive. Sgt. R. Nichols (Badge #3590) and Officer E. Bounds (Badge #3521) with help from witnesses to the accident, were able to free the trapped infant. Sgt. Nichols immediately began to perform CPR on the unconscious infant, eventually waking the child and keeping her alive until Fort Worth PD arrived on scene. At this time, the woman and infant are in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.

We are beyond proud of the life saving actions performed by Sgt. Nichols and Officer Bounds for their bravery and quick response to this terrible scene. We are also grateful to the Fort Worth citizens who saw someone in danger and, without hesitation, assisted our officers.

TRAINING CRASH IN OKC: An Air Force OA-1K Skyraider II aircraft crashed today near SE 119th and Sooner Road in Oklahoma City.

Two crew members were on board, one civilian contractor and one U.S. Air Force active duty member. There have been no reported injuries. The aircraft and crew are assigned to the 492d Special Operations Wing and operate out of Will Rogers Air National Guard Base, Okla. The aircraft was engaged in a training mission. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

On August 16th, 2004, Deputy Hamson was investigating an accident on Sierra Highway near Soledad Canyon Road when he saw an oncoming car driving without its headlights on. As he stepped into the roadway to get the driver's attention with his flashlight he was struck by another car.

He remained in a coma in a long-term care facility until succumbing to his injuries.

Deputy Hamson had served with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for five years at the time of the incident. He is survived by his wife, two sons, parents, and two brothers.

BREAKING: An anonymous donor gave $130 million to the Department of War to help ensure U.S. troops are paid during the ongoing government shutdown, a Pentagon spokesman said.

DEVELOPING: The Justice Department says it will deploy federal election monitors to key counties in California and New Jersey for next month’s closely watched elections.

Overnight, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War carried out a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Tren de Aragua (TdA), a Designated Terrorist Organization (DTO), trafficking narcotics in the Caribbean Sea.

The vessel was known by our intelligence to be involved in illicit narcotics smuggling, was transiting along a known narco-trafficking route, and carrying narcotics. Six male narco-terrorists were aboard the vessel during the strike, which was conducted in international waters—and was the first strike at night. All six terrorists were killed and no U.S. forces were harmed in this strike.

Statement via DHS “On Oct. 23, Erik Alejandr Armijos, who confirmed to ICE officers he is illegal alien from Ecuador, escaped from ICE custody during transport for post-arrest processing. Armijos faked feeling ill and when the ICE officer slightly lowered the window to provide the alien some comfort, he brazenly launched himself out of the window, breaking it in the process. Multiple arrest teams, with support of federal law enforcement partners, attempted to locate Armijos to no avail. The illegal alien remains at large, and the search is still ongoing. Armijos has been referred to SDNY for criminal prosecution.

Cicero or Sicario: A Day of Crashes.

October 22nd was one of the most violent days faced by DHS law enforcement since the beginning of Operation Midway Blitz.

To the rioters: you will not stop us or slow us down.

At a laundromat on Pulaski Road, USBP was conducting immigration enforcement operations when one female U.S. citizen, Isabel Mata, allegedly threatened a law enforcement officer after stating she would put a hit out on Chief Gregory Bovino. This incident has been referred to the FBI.

At 26th Street and Kostner Avenue, three U.S. citizens, Jacqueline Lopez, Eliana Bahena, and Jonathan Uribe, are accused of tailing Border Patrol vehicles to draw attention to them. One car then attempted to ram a vehicle, and all three drivers were taken into custody.

At 24th Street and Ogden Avenue, USBP was targeted by an aggressive U.S. citizen driver displaying an anti-ICE flag. The driver, Alexis Correa, a Latin Kings gang member, is accused of following agents for several miles on 26th Street and then attempted to ram the vehicle head-on. USBP evaded the driver, but the suspects continued to drive recklessly striking another car civilian car. The driver’s criminal history includes convictions for unlawful possession of a firearm, destroying evidence, and DUI. He was arrested under 18 USC 111.
