TWO DUI crashes. One weekend. Both into police cars. You canβt make this up.
The first happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, when an unmarked patrol vehicle was parked on the shoulder of Airport Blvd finishing up a traffic stop. Out of nowhere, a driver plows right into the back of the patrol car. Investigators found numerous βtruly hardβ seltzers and other empty cans in the vehicle. And yes, the driver surprise, surprise, was truly arrested for DUI.
Fast forward to 12:32 a.m. Sunday at a different location, same bad decision. Our officers were turning onto E. Mississippi from S. Chambers when they rear endedβ¦by yet another drunk driver.
Thankfully, all our officers are okay, though all were taken to the hospital for minor injuries and two had whiplash.
Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for their recoveryππ»
Letβs be real: thereβs nothing cool, funny, or excusable about driving under the influence. Call a ride, call a friend, walk, crawl do literally anything else, just donβt drive drunk. Itβs not worth the risk.
Because if you hit a patrol car, letβs be honest: thatβs not βbad luck.β Thatβs bad judgment. These officers were lucky. Next time, it could be you, your friend, or someoneβs family member.

Anti-ICE protesters cannot be described as peaceful when their actions include violence toward others and law enforcement officers. Obstructing the free movement of people and engaging in assaults undermines the very message they claim to promote. There are lawful, constructive avenues to voice dissent β violence and intimidation are never acceptable.

This U.S. citizen thought it was a good idea to use her car as a 4,000-pound weapon against our agentsβ¦ Weβll hit back with as many consequences as we can.
When our agents were driving away from the scene of an enforcement operation, she drove aggressively at them before running into their van with her car.
Her reckless and out-of-control behavior endangered public safety and our agentsβ lives. Any violence against our agents will NOT be tolerated.

Itβs been more than a month since House Republicans did our job by passing a simple bill to keep the government OPEN.
Since then, our Members have been in their districts WORKING β helping families, veterans, and small businesses through this Democrat Shutdown.
Meanwhile, Democrats are leading hateful protests, staging pointless political stunts, and giving worthless excuses. Itβs time for them to end the shutdown THEY CREATED.

Power, Payoffs & the Disappearing Watchdogs - my latest article exposes how Los Angeles Countyβs political elite have quietly dismantled oversight, sidelined watchdogs, and turned public accountability into a pay-to-play operation.
When corruption becomes currency, truth becomes collateral damage.
This investigation pulls back the curtain on how power and payoffs intersect in LA County politics.
