BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a ShotSpotter activation near Sierra Highway and Avenue J-2 on Wednesday night, October 15, 2025.
Upon arrival, deputies were directed to an area behind a location reportedly operating as an illegal casino, commonly referred to as a “Tap Tap.” At the scene, deputies discovered an individual suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead by personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
One person was detained in connection with the incident, and a firearm was recovered at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.

They thought they could get away from Operation Midway Blitz. Once again, we proved them wrong as agents performed a tactical PIT maneuver to disable their vehicle, and placed them under arrest.

NYC: Alexander Avenue & Bruckner Boulevard, a drill rapper was shot and killed yesterday as he left a local parole office. The victim, John Martinez, known as Suave Drilly, was executed in broad daylight after a meeting with his parole officer. Three gunmen ambushed him, firing multiple shots into his torso. EMS rushed him to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The scene was chaotic as officers from the NYPD40Pct and parole police struggled to control a frantic crowd. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Suave Drilly was in custody and awaiting arraignment as one of 20 alleged G-Side / Drilly gang members in the Norwood and Gun Hill area. According to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, those arrests were tied to a long list of violent charges, including murder, non-fatal shootings, and stabbings.
