A heart-stopping moment in Los Angeles — a viral video shows LAPD officers heroically carrying their injured colleague from the wreckage of a high-speed pursuit crash.

Late Friday night, chaos erupted in Willowbrook when a police chase ended in a violent collision. The pursuit, which began after officers tried to stop a suspect’s vehicle, turned into a dangerous crash that left one officer severely injured.

Dramatic video obtained by @police_frequency shows moments after the crash when one of the officers, seemingly dazed, is lying on the pavement next to the open driver’s door.

Video footage captures the emotional scene — fellow officers lifting the wounded cop onto a stretcher and rushing him to safety. The injured officer was quickly taken to the hospital, while the suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot and remains at large.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, as questions rise about the safety of high-speed pursuits in crowded neighborhoods. Despite the risks, many hail the LAPD’s quick and selfless response as a testament to the dangers they face daily in the line of duty.
