Oakland Police Commission hosts first meeting since chief's resignation announcement.

Mitchell is the 11th police chief to lead Oakland police in the past 15 years. At the meeting, some in attendance said they believe the commission played a role in Mitchell's decision to leave the department.

Texas: Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputy was injured in a fiery high-speed chase that tore through Johnson and Tarrant Counties.

The suspect, Christopher Roth, was captured and now faces multiple felony charges, including Evading Arrest Causing Serious Bodily Injury.
