Florida: West Palm Beach Police Department responded to a call for service this morning around 2 am where officers immediately took on gun fire upon their arrival. 

Officers returned fire, however, one officer was shot and is in stable condition at this time.

No other information has been released on the officer shot or the suspect involved.

LAW AND DISORDER: From “Fuck the Police” to photo ops with the DA.

LA Councilmember Ysabel Jurado, a self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist who once called to abolish the police, now stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Nathan Hochman to “fight crime” in her own district - the same one that’s been plagued by copper wire theft for five years.

The irony? Jurado built her career vilifying law enforcement, dismissing theft and smash-and-grabs as “nonviolent property crimes.” Now she’s all in for tougher penalties - at least when the cameras are rolling.
