JUST IN: Crews respond to 'aircraft emergency' on Highway 50, California.

A helicopter has crashed on the 50 near Stockton Blvd in Sacramento. People are reportedly trapped inside. Helpful cotiohace rushed to their aid. The crash happened around 7:22pm.

California: Two men were detained and one officer was injured after a pursuit and search in the Ridgecrest area.

Officers with the Ridgecrest Police Department observed a suspected “drug house,” in the 300 block of North Alvord Street. A 61-year-old man was seen leaving the residence on a dirt bike. Officers attempted to stop him but he fled through streets and desert terrain.
He fled on foot but was apprehended and allegedly found in possession of fentanyl. An officer sustained a fractured elbow and laceration, according to police.

The officer was treated at a local hospital.

Some encouraging news. Lt. David Godfrey, who was hurt in the ambush in North Codorus Township, made an appearance at a K9 fundraiser.

A lieutenant with the York County Sheriff’s Office who was injured in a shootout on Sept. 17 attended a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at the York Fairgrounds on Sunday.

Lt. David Godfrey attended the dinner for the York County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, according to a video posted on Facebook.

A New York State Police trooper was conducting a traffic stop near Schroon Lake in Essex County when a cargo van crashed into the rear of the trooper's cruiser, killing a passenger in the van.

At 3:35 p.m., New York State Police responded to a three-car collision involving a state police vehicle, a 2011 Mercedes 350 and a Ford Transit near Schroon Lake in Essex County.

According to police, a state trooper was conducting a traffic stop on the 2011 Mercedes 350 after witnessing a traffic law violation. The Ford Transit struck the back of the police vehicle, which was stopped on I-87 with the emergency lights activated, police said.

The New York State trooper was taken to Glen Falls Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

A medical helicopter crashed on a highway in Sacramento Monday evening. The crash left at least three people critically injured.

Great job by Clay County Sheriff's Office, Florida Deputy Hanna and his trainee got a call, an elderly woman was seen walking alone in Fleming Island, disoriented and falling. They searched the area, found her quickly and contacted family members immediately. As they spoke with her, she nearly fell again, but they were there for her. They stayed by her side until her family could arrive and take her safely home.
