Shocking moment US border agents pull two immigrants from the Colorado River just moments after a smuggler abandoned them and fled back to Mexico. A CBP spokesperson told @police_frequency in the Telegram that both of the Mexican nationals were treated on the spot and were taken in for processing Saturday morning. Surveillance video posted on the CBP's Twitter account Tuesday showed how a smuggler led the men around a border fence separating Mexico and the states of California and Arizona.

North Carolina's top prosecutor expanded his efforts to halt e-cigarette sales to teens on Tuesday by suing eight more manufacturers and sellers of vaping products. Josh Stein, the Democratic attorney general in the traditionally tobacco-friendly state, said he's filing lawsuits against eight companies that make or sell e-cigarettes and related products in an announcement timed to grab attention during the first week of school. 'We simply have to do more to protect kids, and I as attorney general of North Carolina refuse to stand by as e-cigarette companies entice thousands of children to use their products,' Stein told reporters.

Three B2 Spirit bombers touched down at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire in the UK under cover of darkness in the early hours of Tuesday morning, filmed by an amateur plane spotter. The 172ft-wide $2bn USAF warplanes are almost completely invisible to radar. Only 20 were ever purchased and they cost $165,000 per hour to operate. They were designed to carry nuclear payloads past Soviet air defence systems.
