BREAKING: FOP urges leaders to deploy National Guard to tackle Charlotte crime.

Statement from Charlotte Rep. Alma Adams (D) on FOP’s request for the National Guard in Charlotte:

“I strongly believe deploying the National Guard in Charlotte as requested by the Fraternal Order of Police is unnecessary. Consistent public safety improvements in Charlotte by the Mayor and City Council have led to a significant reduction in violent crime and homicides in 2025. I am confident that Mayor Lyles’ and the Charlotte City Council’s work with Governor Stein and the White House to meet all security and safety standards for the city is appropriate and underway, and I support their collaborative efforts to provide for public safety in Charlotte”

Exantus was sentenced to 20 years in 2018 after being found not guilty by reason of insanity for the m*rder and guilty but mentally ill on the assault charges

"The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) is aware of public interest following several arrests made during demonstrations in the South Waterfront on the night of October 2, 2025.

Among those arrested was an individual known to have a significant social media presence, as well as others representing a range of political viewpoints.

As with all such situations, arrests are based on observed behavior and probable cause — not political affiliation or public profile. Formal charges will be determined by the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.

Shortly after these riots, Portland City Council and the Mayor at the time, Ted Wheeler defunded the police.

The entire riot squad, all 80 Portland riot trained officers quit!

Then 80% of the Portland police force quit!

Then Covid lockdown were put in place and Portland turned into a ghost town.

Most of the Portland police today are newer hires and I’m not sure why they continue to be police officers in Portland, they’re not allowed to be police, but instead babysit Antifa, the homeless and drug users.

Pennsylvania: A Pittsburgh police detective was shot in the leg Friday afternoon in the city’s East Hills section during a confrontation with a homicide suspect.

The shooting scene is unfolding on Wilner Street, and investigators believe the suspect in that shooting is connected to a double shooting at a motel in Robinson Township earlier in the day.

Sources say the suspect shot the officer in the leg, and the officer returned fire. The suspect was taken into custody. Their conditions weren't immediately known.
