One of the things I so admired about Charlie Kirk is that he didn't have a jealous or envious bone in his body. I'm not sure whether this is something innate or cultivated. You see it in young kids from an early age--some kids just feel a natural jubilation when other people do well or succeed, and others don't.  Charlie just rooted for everyone, supported them, cheered them on, and encouraged them to see the possibilities they couldn't see in themselves.

All of us should follow that example. Whatever their politics, mistrust anyone who's naturally envious of the success of others. A lot of the posthumous attacks on Charlie are rooted in envy.

32-year-old Puerto Rican Joseph Cruz-Santiago was charged with SEXUALLY EXPLOITING two young girls thanks to an investigation by ICE special agents.

Cruz-Santiago allegedly used his cellphone, messaging apps and social media to entice the young girls into sexual activity and took explicit images while he abused them.

Arizona: Three people are dead after heavy rain and flooding hit Globe for a second night in a row.

Flood waters washed cars down the street and large propane tanks were seen floating through town Friday night. Search efforts continue early Saturday morning.

The U.S. 60 closed near Pinal Creek Friday night because of the flooding, but has since reopened. The mayor of the town east of Phoenix said he plans to declare a state of emergency and is urging people to stay out of the downtown area. There are two Red Cross shelters opened at High Desert and Lee Kornegay.

NEW: Authorities are still investigating what happened after they found a man shot to death near the 210 freeway.

CHP received a call Friday afternoon after someone reported seeing a body between the west-bound lanes of the freeway, east of citrus avenue.

There is still no word on how long the body had been there or any details on the shooter.

Tennessee: A man is dead and an officer is injured after a shooting on Saturday morning, according to the Memphis Police Department.

Just before 2:25 a.m., officers responded to a man firing shots in the air on Northbridge Avenue near Ashwood Street.

Officers arrived on scene to the man who was shooting his gun, and he pointed his gun at one of the officers.

Another officer then shot at the man, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

The Memphis Fire Department took the man to the hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.

The shooter was identified as Vontorian Anthony, 34.

An officer was injured and taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
It’s unclear how the officer was injured.

On Thursday, Detroit Station agents arrested 2 Special Interest Aliens from Senegal in partnership with local law enforcement in Clinton Township, Michigan.
