A motorcycle officer with the L.A. Police Department was alert and speaking with fellow officers after a crash on the 405 Freeway that left traffic snarled for miles.
Officers with the California Highway Patrol closed northbound lanes as the officer was being treated and ultimately rushed to a nearby hospital by ambulance in unknown condition.

So agents breached the driver’s side window to remove him. Once confronted with the consequences of his actions, the subject obeyed, was taken into custody, and will now face deportation.
He was given the opportunity to comply. Instead, he chose to endanger himself and others. Vehicle extractions are a last resort, but they will be used when necessary.
