9/23/25 A counter-protester was assaulted and then sprayed with bear mace outside the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown L.A., where demonstrators have been holding a continuous 24/7 protest.

Democrats have more blood on their hands today. Our feckless governor went on a “comedy” television show last night ranting about ICE agents, spewing unhinged rage and vitriol. Early this morning a madman perched himself in the shadows and took innocent lives at an ICE facility.

These horrendous killings must serve as a wake-up call to the far-left that their rhetoric about ICE has consequences. Please, pray for the New Jersey police officer who was shot in the line of duty this afternoon.🙏🏻

A police officer was shot and injured while responding to a call of a man with a gun at a motel in Irvington.

The situation unfolded just after noon on Wednesday at the Gallery Holiday Motel on Ball Street.

Authorities say the suspect shot at officers and they were forced to return fire.

During the exchange of gunfire, one of the officers was shot in the back. He was taken to University Hospital and is stable.
No one else was injured but two other officers were taken to the hospital for observation.

Two people were taken into custody.
