Sacramento, California: Just after 1:30pm, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 400 block of Broadway. Responding officers observed at least three gunshots into a window of the building. The building was occupied and fortunately, nobody was injured.

There is no suspect information to release. At this time, our detectives have responded out and will processing this scene and conducting follow up.

Police are searching for 27-year-old Anmol Bhatia, accused of breaking into a West Hollywood home and killing a tiny dog during a Sept. 4 burglary. Video shows Bhatia abusing the dog until it became unresponsive. Anyone with information is urged to call the West Hollywood Detective Bureau at 310-855-8850 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477. This kind of animal cruelty will never be tolerated.

Tennessee: A Memphis Police officer was injured in a crash on the same road where officers were investigating a shots fired call, the department said Friday.

Just before 7:15 Friday evening, MPD said, officers were sent to a two-car crash involving a squad car at W. Red Oak Dr. and Mimosa Rd. Police said the officer involved in the crash was taken to the hospital for treatment, but is expected to recover.

Up the street at W. Red Oak Dr. and Red Oak Dr., police said, officers were investigating a shots fired call. They said they didn't find a victim, but had one person detained.

FOX asked if the officer who was injured in the crash had been investigating the shots fired call, but did not hear back.
