Detective Sergeant Cody Becker, was one of the heroes who was tragically killed in the line of duty.

Cody was part of the Northern York County Regional Police Department, Pa and was killed in a shooting incident on Wednesday while responding to a domestic violence call, alongside two other officers, Detective Mark Baker and Detective Isaiah Emenheiser. Cody's bravery and selflessness were evident throughout his career. One notable example is his heroic act in September 2011, where he risked his life to rescue a mother and her three children from a burning apartment building. He and another officer bravely entered the third-floor apartment, saving the family from the inferno. This act of courage earned him recognition, and his commitment to serving and protecting his community was unwavering.

Former Philly Police Highway Patrol Officer, Detective Mark Baker was one of the three officers shot & killed in the line of duty in York County.

He began his police career in the PPD25Dist in 2001. He was with Philadelphia Police until 2004, when he joined Northern York County Regional Police.
