The Stow Police Department, Stow, Ohio sadly announced the death of retired K-9 Ruger, who peacefully passed away on the evening of August 24.

Ruger was born in 2016 and began his dedicated service with the Stow Police Department in June 2017, serving alongside his handler, Sgt. Jacob Corfman. After an incredible career, Ruger retired in 2022 and spent his well-deserved retirement with Sgt. Corfman, enjoying the love and comfort he had earned.

NEW: SIX people accused of being in the country illegally were arrested on Wednesday in Bryan by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. (ICE).

One of the men arrested is Mario Bernal-Diaz, 43, who ICE described as being a documented "spousal abuser" who has entered the U.S. illegally six times.

While arresting Bernal-Diaz, ICE agents say they encountered the other 5 during their operation, and now all six detainees have been taken to the Montgomery Processing Center in Conroe, where they will remain pending immigration proceedings.

"Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, ICE is targeting the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens. 70% of ICE arrests of illegal aliens with criminal charges or convictions in the U.S. This statistic does not even include foreign fugitives, gang members, terrorists, and human rights abusers who do not yet have a rap sheet in the U.S.," said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

Louisiana: Pineville Police confirmed that an officer was hurt in a vehicle crash while responding to another crash at LA Capitol Federal Credit Union.

PPD was responding on September 18, around 1:45 p.m. to the 2800 block of Hwy 28 East regarding the crash. The officer was involved in a separate crash in the 3000 block of Hwy 28 East, not far from the initial credit union crash.

PPD said the officer had minor injuries from the crash.

NEW: Per multiple ICE sources, NYC Comptroller Brad Lander & other politicians & protesters are currently trying to get into the 10th floor ICE office & holding cells at 26 Federal Plaza in NYC, while other protesters are blocking ICE vans from leaving the facility downstairs. ICE has had to lock the doors on the 10th floor and now has security posted at the door.
